    摘要: Disclosed are a preparation method of adamantyltrimethylammonium hydroxide, and an aqueous quaternary ammonium base solution prepared from the same, relating to the technical field of molecular sieve template agent production. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: S1, salification: weighing dimethyladamantanamine, adding dimethyl carbonate, evenly mixing the mixture to prepare a quaternized mixture, and under a helium sealing atmosphere, heating the quaternized mixture to 135°C to 150°C for reaction for no less than 6 hours to obtain an adamantyltrimethylammonium carbonate monomethyl ester salt; and S2, hydrolysis: dissolving the adamantyltrimethylammonium carbonate monomethyl ester salt into water, adding calcium hydroxide, blowing nitrogen from a lower part of a liquid level, heating the mixture until a boiling state is reached, simultaneously removing a byproduct methanol to form the adamantyltrimethylammonium hydroxide, and recovering a product to prepare the aqueous quaternary ammonium base solution. The preparation method of the adamantytrimethylammonium hydroxide disclosed by the invention has the advantage that an impurity content can be reduced.
