摘要:
The present invention relates to methods and compositions for identifying and detecting lethal cell useful for monitoring disease status and therapy response in various types of cancer patients regardless of the etiological origin of the cancer and uses thereof.
摘要:
This invention relates to methods of identifying, synthesizing, optimizing and profiling compounds that are inhibitors or activators of proteins, both naturally occurring endogenous proteins as well as certain variant forms of endogenous proteins, and novel methods of identifying such variants. The method accelerates the identification and development of compounds as potential therapeutically effective drugs by simplifying the pharmaceutical discovery and creation process through improvements in hit identification, lead optimization, biological profiling, and rapid elimination of toxic compounds. Implementation results in overall cost, reductions in the drug discovery process resulting from the corresponding increases in efficiency.
摘要:
A stabilised reagent for photometric enzymatic determination of creatine kinase (CK) in biological sample material by forming ATP from creatine phosphate and ADP and detection of the ATP thus formed containing an organic or inorganic sulphur compound, preferably with a molar deficiency in relation to the added CK activator. A corresponding reagent remains stable at 2-8 DEG C for up to 12 months without incurring any significant functional loss.

The present invention relates to methods for the diagnosis and evaluation of acute coronary syndromes. In particular, patient test samples are analyzed for the presence and amount of members of a panel of markers comprising one or more specific markers for myocardial injury and one or more non-specific markers for myocardial injury. A variety of markers are disclosed for assembling a panel of markers for such diagnosis and evaluation. In various aspects, the invention provides methods for the early detection and differentiation of stable angina, unstable angina, and myocardial infarction. Invention methods provide rapid, sensitive and specific assays that can greatly increase the number of patients that can receive beneficial treatment and therapy, reduce the costs associated with incorrect diagnosis, and provide important information about the prognosis of the patient.

To search human Cds1 (hCds1) being homologous with yeast cell cycle regulatory factors scCds1 and spCds1, GenBank EST data base is retrieved based on fission yeast spCds1 sequence and baker's yeast scCds1 sequence, thereby finding a homologous molecule (dCds1) of Drosophila which is significantly homologous with spCds1 and sdCds1. Then the full-length gene thereof is isolated. It is confirmed that this gene is expressed strongly in testis and, moreover, widely expressed in other tissues. A protein encoded by the thus isolated gene is prepared as a recombinant protein and its kinase activity is detected in vitro. As a result, it is found out that this protein efficiently phosphorylates cdc25 and histone H1.
摘要:
A reagent for assaying creatine kinase, which contains glucokinase or hexokinase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, adenosine 5'-diphosphate, creatine phosphate, oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, magnesium salt, and glucose, and which is composed of a first liquid reagent having a pH value of 7.5 to 10 and containing at least glucokinase and/or hexokinase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, adenosine 5'-diphosphate and creatine phosphate, and a second liquid reagent having a pH value of 2 to 5 and containing at least oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate. This reagent can be stored in liquid form stably for long at normal or low temperatures in both dark and light places. Hence it can be used without the necessity for dissolution after being preserved for long at the site of clinical examination and is also applicable to automatic analyzers.
摘要:
A stabilized liquid reagent for measuring creatine kinase activity which comprises as the main constituent at least one compound selected from the group consisting of thioglycerol, 2-mercaptoethanol, and 2-mercaptoethanesulfonic acid or its salt is stable and can be stored for a long period of time.
摘要:
A method of determining glucose-6-phosphate including the step of dehydrogenating glucose-6-phosphate and NAD or NADP in the presence of a glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase to yield 6-phosphogluconic acid and NADH or NADPH, characterized by the presence of 6-phosphogluconolactonase; and a composition for use in determining glucose-6-phosphate which comprises 6-phosphogluconolactonase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and NAD or NADP.
