    摘要: PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a metal coating having good adhesive properties, by degreasing a polyamide molded item, dip treating it in an aqueous solution of an ethylene glycol, and thereafter further dip treating it in an aqueous stannic chloride solution when carrying out the titled pretreating method. CONSTITUTION:In electroless plating of a polyamide resin such as nylon 6, nylon 12, etc., a molded item is degreased as pretreatment with an aqueous solution of a surface active agent. Subsequently, treatment for making the molded item hydrophilic is performed with an aqueous solution of an ethylene glycol such as monoethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, etc., having a concentration of about 20-90wt% at a temperature of about 20-90 deg.C for 5-20min. Next, the molded item is treated with an aqueous stannic chloride solution having a concentration of about 2- 20wt% at a temperature of about 30-90 deg.C for 5-15min to etch chemically, and thereafter the etched molded item is subjected to electroless playing to obtain a metal coating having excellent adhesiveness, gloss, etc.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To carry out the title metallization such as electroplating or the like directly without using chromic acid by a method wherein a surface of a modified PP obtained by kneading and molding PP, carbon black and an additive enhancing etching effect is roughened and, thereafter, metallization treatment is carried out. CONSTITUTION:To a mixture comprising 100pts.wt. of PP and 10-40pts.wt. of carbon black, 5-30pts.wt. of an additive capable of enhancing dry etching or chemical etching effect is added and kneading and molding are carried out to prepare a modified PP. As the above-described additive, one or more of EPDM or polynorbornene containing polyethylene glycol with MW of about 200, or 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene as a third component is used. The surface of this modified PP is subjected to surface roughening treatment by oxidizing plasma and the roughened surface is subjected to supplementing treatment by a harmless acid or a mixture of an acid and an oxidizing agent. Thereafter, metallization treatment such as electroplating or the like is directly applied to said roughened surface.
