摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-arcing time/current characteristic, a film resistor element superior in short-time overload characteristics, a method for favorably manufacturing it, and an inexpensive fusing resistor formed by using such a film resistance element at low cost. SOLUTION: An alloy film composed of 2-10% of iron, 0.5-10% of zinc, 10-40% of phosphorus, and the rest, nickel in weight base is applied on a prescribed insulating substrate by electroless plating so as to obtain a film resistance element. A fusing resistor is manufactured by using this film resistance film.

摘要: PURPOSE: To enhance productivity with a simple equipment, and reduce cost without using a gold wire by joining an extra fine fuse wire such as a copper wire selling at a market to electrode parts of lead terminals by solders. CONSTITUTION: Electrode parts 12a and 13a of metallic plate-like lead terminals 12 and 13 and an extra fine fuse wire 14 such as a copper wire are joined together by solders 15 and 16, and a part of the fuse wire 14 and the lead terminals 12 and 13 is also covered with resin such as epoxy resin. In this constitution, when a large electric current flows between the terminals 12 and 13, the fuse wire 14 melts, and is disconnected, and both terminals 12 and 13 are electrically discontinued with each other. Plural electronic fuses can also be manufactured at a time by punching of a metallic plate, arranging of a common fuse wire onto an electrode, baking in furnace after cream solder is printed and formed or the like.

摘要: PURPOSE: To improve workability, and reduce cost without using a gold wire by printing and forming patterning whose central part is composed of neck- shaped solder cream between copper foil electrodes on an insulating film. CONSTITUTION: A solder cream pattern 14 where electrodes 12 and 13 which are oppositely arranged so as to separate from each other and are composed of copper foil are electrically continued with each other, is printed and formed on an insulating film 11. Since a central part 14a of the pattern 14 is thinly formed in a neck shape, when a large electric current flows between the electrodes 12 and 13, solder of the central part 14a melts, and it is disconnected by being pulled by both electrodes due to surface tension, and both electrodes are electrically discontinued with each other. Projecting parts of the electrodes 12 and 13 from the film 11 are formed external terminals. Normally, a part of the electrodes 12 and 13 and a surface of the pattern 14 are sealed by resin, and are cut off from an external part.

摘要: PURPOSE: To manufacture a chip type current protecting element with good reliability and high insulating resistance after fused by having an insulating substrate, a pair of electrodes and a current protecting element wiring portion provided with a portion not adhered to the insulating substrate. CONSTITUTION: An organic resin insulating base material 2 is manufactured by pasting an extremely thin copper foil 1 on one face and a copper foil 3 on the other face to form the pattern of the current protecting element wiring portion of wiring thickness 3-8μm. The pattern is formed for a plural of current protecting element wiring portions 5 to be longitudinally in series across the electrode portion 4 and laterally in one line of continuously parallel arrangement. The current protecting element wiring portion formed and the organic resin insulating base material 21 with the copper foil 3 on one face are layered and adhered together via adhesive with a metal plate 6. One metal plate 6 with a hole is then used to make a non-adhered portion 7. An end face adhering hole 8 is made in such a laminated plate, plating 9 is applied thereto and then an electrode portion 10 is formed with etching.

摘要: PURPOSE: To prevent cracks and fractures of a fuse element by avoiding the occurrence of repeated stress conventionally taking place due to a difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the element and the insulation case thereof. CONSTITUTION: Regarding a fuse element 2 with a metallic cable connection terminal 3 jointed to both ends thereof, only the fuse element 2 is sealed in an insulation case 7 of synthetic resin, with a part of the terminal 3 projected externally. Also, a cable fuse 1 so made is formed to have a gap 8 between the external surface 3a of the terminal 3 and the internal surface 7b of the through-hole 7a of the case 7 where the terminal 3 penetrates. Furthermore, the gap 8 is airtightly charged with a flexible filler 9.

摘要: PURPOSE:To provide a chip resistor with fuse function in which the fusing time is shortened and minimized in dispersion by providing an electrically opened part on a resistor pattern printed and baked on an insulating base, and short-circuiting the opened part with a conductive metal having fuse function such as Pb, Al or the like. CONSTITUTION:A thick film electrode 3 is printed and baked on an insulating base 1, and a resistor 2 is then printed and baked thereon. An electric opened part 4 is partially provided on the resistor pattern, and a conductive metal thick film 5 is printed and baked in a band form on the opened part, and short- circuited. As the thick film material to be short-circuited, Pb, Sn, Zn, Al, Cu, Fe and alloys thereof can be used. A preliminarily grooved base is used, and the thick film material to be short-circuited is arranged thereon to pass above it, whereby dispersion of fusing time can be suppressed. The resistor film from which the short-circuited position is removed is trimmed, whereby the resistance value can be precisely regulated.
