Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a new protein plasma heparin binding protein 70 (PHBP-70), available from blood of a fetus and a neonate of mammals including humans, having a specific molecular weight and a specified amino acid, capable of manifesting growth promoting activities for fibroblasts and useful as a therapeutic agent, etc., for wounds. CONSTITUTION:This new protein PHBP-70 is obtained from blood of a fetus and a neonate of mammals including humans and has about 60-80 kDa molecular weight measured by the sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) under reducing conditions and an amino-terminal sequence having an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula. Furthermore, the protein is capable of manifesting growth promoting activities for fibroblasts and useful as a therapeutic agent, etc., for wounds. This protein is prepared by adding an anticoagulant to a bovine blood plasma, adding IM barium chloride thereto, centrifuging the resultant mixture, collecting the produced white precipitate, dissolving the precipitate in a phosphoric acid buffer solution, treating the obtained solution with an anion exchanger, adsorbing and removing a vitamin K-dependent protein, treating a fraction without being adsorbed with a column immobilizing a heparin, a get filtration column and an anion exchange column and purifying the resultant eluate according to the reversed phase liquid chromatography.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a toner fixing device with a heat roll heated for the short warm-up time with low electric power by using a metallic pipe contg. a coiled heating wire disposed as a heat roll and coating the heating wire with a polybenzimidazole-based layer. CONSTITUTION:A metallic pipe 1 contg. a coiled heating wire 2 disposed as a heat source at the center is used as a heat roll. The heating wire 2 has been coated with a polybenzimidazole-based layer and the coated coiled heating wire 2 is disposed so that the temp. distribution of the surface of the heat roll is made uniform. The pipe 1 and the heating wire 2 are especially preferably kept in contact with each other from the viewpoint of thermal efficiency. In order to fix the position of the heating wire 2 in the pipe 1, packing 3 may be disposed in the gap in the pipe 1. The objective toner fixing device capable of warm-up for a short time with low electric power is obtd. and the size of this device can be reduced in accordance with the reduction of the diameter of the heat roll.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a preventive and therapeutic agent for fracture, containing platelet factor 4 as the active component and having an ossification promotion effect. CONSTITUTION:This preventive and therapeutic agent contains human platelet factor 4 and bovine platelet factor 4 as the active components. The platelet factor 4(PF4) is useful for diseases related to osteoblast and especially for prevention and therapy of diseases such as fracture requiring promotion of differentiation and growth of bone since it promotes differentiation of osteoblast. For therapy of fracture, it is administrated most preferably by mixing it with a suitable gel-state base and applying locally and directly to an affected part. PF4 is very soluble in water and can be systemically administrated in the form of a water-soluble injection. Nasal or transpulmonary administration is also possible in the form of a fine-particle aerosol. The dosage is 1 to 100mug/ administration part/human/day in the case of local administration or 0.1 to 10mg/kg/day in the case of systemic administration.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to classify a part of osteoporosis as one of autoimmune diseases by detecting an autoantibody in the blood serum of an osteoporosis patient using an osteospecific sialoprotein. CONSTITUTION:An antibody containing an osteospecific sialoprotein (BSP) as an antigen is present in the blood serum of an osteoporosis patient. A diagnostic agent therefor is present in the osseous tissue of an osteoporosis patient and contains an antigen which reacts on the antibody in the blood serum of human osteoporosis patient but does not react on the antibody in the blood serum of healthy human. For example, BSP extracted from the bone of a mammal, e.g. a bovine, is purified by ion exchange chromatography to produce a diagnostic agent. The purifies antigens are then fixed to a plastic microplate having 96 holes and caused to react on a sample, i.e., a blood serum of human, and an enzyme-labeled secondary antibody is further caused to react before the color development of enzyme is detected.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To determine a specimen with no influence of nonspecific agglutination by bringing a particle carrier sensitized by an immunoactive substance into contact with the specimen reactive specifically on the active substance and detecting variation of Zeta potential before and after contact. CONSTITUTION:Latex particles are employed as particle carrier and the type thereof is not limited. Various available antigens or antibodies are employed as immunoactive substance. Sodium chloride or potassium chloride dissolved into phosphoric acid buffer is employed as an electrolytic aqueous solution. According to normal immunoassay, the particle carrier sensitized by the immunoactive substance is suspended in the electrolytic aqueous solution and after measuring Zeta potential of the suspension, a specimen reactive specifically on the active substance is added to cause reaction and Zeta potential after reaction is measured. The specimen is determined based on the relationship between the potential difference before and after reaction and the concentration of the specimen. Since the specimen can be measured at low concentration, nonspecific agglutination can be suppressed during stock or measurement.

CONSTITUTION:Photoresist removing solution is mainly composed of an imino- bis-alkylamine group expressed by the formula (R is hydrogen atom, a 1 to 3C alkyl group or a 1 to 3C hydroxyalkylamine group, and each of n and m is an integer of 1 to 3). Methylimino-bis propylamine is especially desirable for the imino-bis-alkylamine group. The imino-bis-alkylamine group is used alone or mixed with two or more kinds. The ratio of imino-bis-alkylamine group in the removing solution is in a range of 10 to 100wt.%. Thereby, photoresist can be completely removed and a process after treatment can be finished just by water cleaning.
