    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic resin film having good film handleability, high surface hardness, and high surface smoothness with almost no surface defects. SOLUTION: The acrylic resin film is manufactured by melting and kneading a metacrylic resin [A] having a weight average molecular weight of 40,000 or more and a polyvinyl acetal resin [B] with an acetalation degree ranging from 55 to 83 mol% obtained via (co)acetalation of a polyvinyl alcohol resin with a number average polymerization degree ranging from 200 to 4,000 at a mass ratio ([A]/[B]) ranging from 99/1 to 51/49, so as to obtain a resin composition having a glass transition temperature Tg AP resulting from the metacrylic resin (A) between the glass transition temperature Tg A of the metacrylic resin (A) alone and the glass transition temperature Tg B of the polyvinyl acetal resin (B) alone, extruding the melt of the resin composition from T die, and then causing the both faces thereof to come into contact with a mirror finished roll surface or a mirror finished belt surface.
