SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device has a photoelectrically converting film containing a compound represented by general formula (1). In the general formula (1), Z 1 represents an atomic group forming a five-membered or six-membered nitrogenous heterocyclic ring. Za represents an atomic group forming a five-membered or six-membered ring. R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group. L 11 to L 14 represent a methine group, may have a substituent, and may form a ring along with the other methine group.
