Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely form an Fe-P plating film free from cracks by adding an Al compd. to an Fe-P electroplating bath contg. divalent Fe ions and phosphorous acid or phosphite as essential components. CONSTITUTION:An Al compd. is added to an Fe-P electroplating bath contg. divalent Fe ions and phosphorous acid and/or phosphite as essential components. By using the resulting plating bath, a plating film free from cracks is surely formed and a sliding member having superior wear and seizing resistances can be obtd. The pref. content of the phosphorous acid and/or phosphite in the plating bath is 0.01-20g (expressed in terms of NaH2PO3.2H2O) per 1l plating bath, that of the Al compd. is 0.05-5g/l (expressed in terms of Al ions) and that of the divalent Fe ions is about 20-80g/l. The proper pH of the plating bath is about 0.5-3.5, the proper temp. of the bath is room temp. to about 80 deg.C and the proper cathode current density is about 0.5-30A/dm .

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type multiple disk clutch of high operating precision by reducing the generation of drag resistance at the time of lifting a clutch engagement. SOLUTION: A plurality of concave portions 18a are formed in a circular ring plate 18. The concave portions 18a is provided with a pitch which is different from a circular arc disk frictional radial oil groove which is composed of multiple disk clutch together with the circular ring plate 18. Accordingly, it is not necessary that an assembling phase of the circular arc disk and the circular ring plate 18 is severely controlled and some of the plurality of concave portions 18a are positioned out of the radial oil groove of the frictional material. In the concave portions 18a inside out of the radial oil groove of the frictional material, the lubricating oil is sealed when the circular arc disk and the circular ring plate 18 stick each other. Then, upon releasing of the clutch engagement, the lubricating oil sealed in the concave portions 18a stimulates to estrange the circular arc disk and the circular ring plate 18.
