Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply molten metal at a suitable temperature to cooling rollers, in an apparatus for producing a metallic sheet from the molten metal by using one pair of cooling rollers.
SOLUTION: A first molten metal holding furnace 28 and a second molten metal holding furnace 30 are connected with a nozzle 18 for supplying the molten metal toward the cooling rollers 10, 12 through a valve 20 and through a valve 26, respectively. The first molten metal holding furnace 28 holds the molten metal at a first temperature and the second molten metal holding furnace 30 holds the molten metal at a second temperature. The temperature of the molten metal supplied from the nozzle 18 toward the cooling rollers 10, 12, is measured with a temperature sensor 36. When the temperature of the molten metal 38 measured with the temperature sensor 36 is changed, the opening degrees of the valves 20, 26 are adjusted according to the temperature change. In this way, the temperature of the molten metal supplied to the cooling rollers 10, 12 from the nozzle 18 is changed for short period of time.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell vehicle capable of driving under a harmful environment by restraining the output of the fuel cell.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a step S11 obtaining a positional information of the vehicle by utilizing a navigation system when the fuel cell vehicle comes close to a harmful driving area, and a step S13 switching from a first driving mode (normal driving mode) to a second driving mode (high temperature driving mode) when the distance D between the vehicle and the harmful driving area becomes close to a threshold value distance D1 (step S12; YES), a step S14 setting the target temperature T1 of the cell higher than normal temperature, a step S15 increasing the temperature of cooling water or fuel gas, and a step finishing the above steps by keeping the cell temperature constant when the cell temperature T reaches the target temperature T1 (step S16; YES).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which suitably controls the output of a fuel cell.
SOLUTION: The output control system performs a first stage of output control of the fuel cell by limiting a permissible power (S20) when a minimum cell voltage is lower than a threshold value A (Y of S14), and a second stage of output control of the fuel cell by further limiting the permissible power limited at S20 when a minimum cell voltage is further lower than a threshold value B (Y of S22). The second stage makes the output limiting ratio shift dynamically in response to the change in the minimum cell voltage and maintains a high power generating efficiency while protecting the fuel cell.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp a state of water in a fuel cell and appropriately manage the water.
SOLUTION: When a required output Pfc required for the fuel cell is changed (S108), a predictive voltage variation ΔVref resulting from the change of the required output Pfc is estimated, based on an output property indicating a relationship between an output voltage and an output current of the fuel cell (S110). It is determined whether or not a deviation ΔV between the variation ΔVcf of the output voltage of the fuel cell actually detected when the fuel cell is operated, based on the required output Pfc and the estimated predictive voltage variation ΔVref is within a prescribed allowance (S124). If it is not within the allowance, it is determined that flooding has occurred, and an opening degree of a flow control valve disposed in a pipeline of an exhaust gas from the fuel cell to exhaust the water is controlled (S126).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning value updating control device for a vehicle, allowing a learning value that has been learned so far to be succeeded and utilized, when a mounted component of the vehicle is exchanged.SOLUTION: When the mounted component of the vehicle 6 is exchanged, a learning value updating means 72 updates the stored learning value based on a characteristic of the mounted component after the exchange. Therefore, since the learning value obtained by running of the vehicle before the exchange of the mounted component is transformed into the value suitable for the characteristics of the mounted component after exchange, the learning value is succeeded and utilized after the exchange of the mounted component. As a result, the learning value suitable for control (for example, regeneration early stage control) of the vehicle 6 after the exchange of the mounted component is obtained at an earlier stage than when the learning value is initialized at the exchange time of the mounted component.
