The luminaire for plant cultivation substantially emits unpolarized light in at least one part of wavelength region between 601 nm and 800 nm, or does not substantially emit light in at least one part of wavelength region between 601 nm and 800 nm.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a growth accelerating apparatus for plant and a growth accelerating method using the same which surely perform the growth acceleration of plant by the electric field effect paying attention to the biological effect of asymmetric AC electric field.SOLUTION: The apparatus and the method adopt the following technical means. An high voltage AC output circuit is provided with a positive bleeder circuit in which a diode and a resistance are combined, and in the circuit elements, an asymmetrical AC high voltage power supply is capable of obtaining an asymmetrical AC high voltage whose crest value ratio of positive voltage to negative voltage is 1:X(≠1) by selecting a resistance value of the resistance. The asymmetrical AC high voltage power supply is provided with a pair of parallel plate-like electrodes 1 and 1. These electrodes 1 and 1 are supported by a support 11 formed of an insulator, a plant 2 where the plant P is placed is disposed between the electrodes 1 and 1, and the asymmetric AC electric field is uniformly applied to the plant P on the surface of the plant 2.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the problems that, in outdoor farming, crops cultured over a wide range and objects such as Tricholoma matsutake whose growth location cannot be specified, are targeted, so electric stunning work is difficult to perform with conventional ways, efficiently and without omission.SOLUTION: There is provided a device which includes: a receiving part opposed to a discharging electrode in a discharging chamber; an electroshocking part set outside the discharging chamber; and a connecting part 21 passing through the discharging chamber, connected with the receiving part in the discharging chamber and connected with the electroshocking part in the outside. A wheel-shaped electroshocking part is attached to an axle part of the connecting part and the electroshocking part has an insulating disc-like substrate 29 on which plural metal powders 33 are arranged as applying electrodes. The voltage supplied from a high-voltage generator is transmitted/distributed to the metal powders 33 through electrical discharge and gives therefrom electroshock to crops or the like. Thus, the acting range of one electrical discharge is made to be a surface from a point and operation can be efficiently performed without omission.

The casing 14 has heat insulating property and is at least partially transparent. The casing 14 is formed with a separating section openable along an axial direction. The inner surface of the casing 14 is provided with latent heat storage bodies 12 each with a latent heat storage material filled inside. In the rootstock base warmer 10, heat is stored in the latent heat storage bodies 12 by sunlight transmitting a transparent part of the casing 14 during the day, and the latent heat storage bodies 12 radiate heat at night when temperature drops, to warm the inside of the casing 14 at a constant temperature.

In order to operate the lighting system to function as the lighting system for natural turf growth, the wavelength of red light of the light emitting element is set to 650-670 nm, and the wavelength of blue light is set to 460-480 nm.
