Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a process control time to enable accurate polishing in mass production by reflecting a component change in wear of a polishing pad or in a polishing solution or a change caused by inclusion or the like of polished chips. SOLUTION: A correction polishing time calculator 5 extracts a calculation result of a standard polishing time calculator 3 and data about a previously- processed lot from a data storage 4, and calculates a correction polishing time for the lot. A time obtained by adding a correction polishing time tcN to a standard polishing time tsN of an N-th lot is set as an optimum polishing time toN. And a time obtained by dividing an optimum polishing time to(N-1) of an (N-1)th lot by a polishing time ts(N-1) is set as a polishing time ratio r(N-1). A value obtained by adding a preset fixed time To to a multiplication of the polishing time ratio r(N-1) by the standard polishing time tsN of the N-th lot is the optimum polishing time toN.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating method of ring configuration information (ring topology map), by which each node can automatically update the ring topology map at a high-speed. SOLUTION: When generating the ring topology map, by using node ID values of nodes configuring a ring network as MAP information values and sequentially loading the ID values from the top node to the last node to MAP information in one direction of the ring, each node 1 transmits the MAP information, including its own ID value at a top of the MAP information, to a next stage (node); loads the ID value included in the top information value of the information received from a preceding stage (node) to the last transmission sequence of the information; sequentially loads the ID value, received successively to a prescribed transmission sequence of the information, receives the ID value from the preceding stage node until the ring topology map loading the ID values stored in the transmission sequence of the information is continuously the same; and sequentially transmits the ID value loaded to the transmission sequence of the information to the next stage load. An overhead byte is desirably used for the ID values transmitted/received. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably enhance a tracking characteristic of transmission line jitter more than a conventional adaptive clock regenerating method. SOLUTION: A write counter (2) counts the number of transmission clocks (b) to generate a transmission write count (f). When a resident quantity of an FIFO buffer memory (1) reaches a prescribed value, a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (3) generates a reception regenerating clock (c). A read counter (4) counts the reception regenerating clock (c) to generate a reception read count (g). An oscillator counter (6) counts a reference time on the basis of an independent clock (d) to generate an independent time count (h). Arithmetic means (7, 8, 9) calculate a voltage control signal (i) on the basis of the three counts (f), (g), (h). A digital/analog converter (10) applies digital/analog conversion to a digital voltage control signal to give a voltage control signal (e). COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply which can change the output current limit value according to the connection state of a load device. SOLUTION: The power supply (100) includes a changing unit (101), and a monitoring unit (102). The changing unit (101) changes the output current value for limiting the current supplied to the load device (200). The monitoring unit (102) monitors the connection state of the power supply (100) and the load device (200). The changing unit (101) changes the output current limit value according to the connection state of the power supply (100) and the load device (200) that is monitored by the monitoring unit (102). Abstract:
A pointing device capable of generating a fixed control signal regardless of operated directions and preventing the generation of a control signal owing to malfunctions, and an electronic apparatus capable of moving a controlled object on a display screen in any direction at a velocity corresponding to an operated amount of an operating section. An original point is defined as a point where a slid distance of a slide key is 0. The maximum slid distance and the minimum slid distance are defined as max _max and min _max, respectively, when moving the slide key until it reaches the rim of an opening section. When the slide key is located within a circular area whose center is the original point and whose radius is n/N of max _max (n and N are arbitrary positive integers, and n

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a precise base block even when a high temperature heat treatment is necessary. SOLUTION: The optical waveguide device 10 has: an optical waveguide part 16 composed of an optical waveguide forming layer 15 having a lower clad layer 12, a core layer 13 and upper clad layers 141 and 142 which are formed on a silicon substrate 11; and an optical element mounting part 17 which is formed by removing a part of the optical waveguide forming layer 15, wherein a light emitting element 18 mounted on the optical element mounting part 17 is optically coupled to the end face of an optical waveguide part 16 which is exposed by partially removing the optical waveguide forming layer 15. A chrome film 21 being a mask 22 is provided on the upper clad layer 142. Therefore, the chrome film 21 is not influenced even when the high temperature heat treatment is performed on the lower clad layer 12 and the core layer 13 or the like before forming the chrome film 21. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble an information device requiring miniaturization inexpensively without spoiling assembling workability while equalizing the pressing force of heat generating circuit elements even if it is difficult in design to dispose a means for pressing a heat dissipating member symmetrically to the heat generating circuit element. SOLUTION: When a radiator 3 to which a resilient guide metal 4 is bonded is pressed in the direction of a printed board 2, the guide portion 4a of the resilient guide metal 4 touches the planar guide portion 5a of a guide metal 5 to guide the height from the printed board 2 of the substantially rectangular radiator 3 near the end of each diagonal line. Consequently, the installation plane of the radiator 3 is not shifted from the theoretical installation plane in design. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
