Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive temperature rise of an engine and a motor when abnormality of control signal for controlling drive of a cooling fan used for cooling of the engine, the motor or the like occurs. SOLUTION: This system determines whether abnormality exists in data input for controlling drive of the cooling fan (step S100, S110). If existence of abnormality is determined, drive level F* of the cooling fan is established to High (Hi) (step S130), and a fan motor is controlled to drive the cooling fan at established drive level F* (step S140). Consequently, the engine and the motor are prevented from reaching high temperature even if abnormality occurs in input data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely start an internal combustion engine and to suppress resonance generated in the start of the engine. SOLUTION: When a battery temperature Tb does not exceed a threshold value Tb1 or a battery output limit Wout does not exceed a threshold value W1 in the start of the internal combustion engine, that is, when it is possible that motoring of the engine is not normally performed depending on a state of a battery, a fuel injection control is started before an engine speed Ne exceeds a threshold value Nref larger than a resonance speed area (S120 to S140) to start the engine. Therefore, the engine is surely started. On the other hand, when the battery can normally perform the motoring of the engine, the fuel injection control is started after the engine speed Ne exceeds the threshold value Nref larger than the resonance speed area (S120 to S140) to start the engine.
