PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power output device, a vehicle mounted with the device and a control method of the power output device, capable of further protecting a purification means for purifying exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine of starting by delaying the ignition timing. SOLUTION: A hybrid automobile 20 starts an engine 22 by igniting in the ignition timing set on the more ignition timing delay side than the ignition timing set in operation after starting the engine 22 when a starting condition is realized when stopping the engine 22. The engine 22 is stopped when the temperature of a purification device 134 is a threshold value or less after a stopping condition is realized, and operation of the engine 22 is continued by igniting in the ignition timing after starting when the temperature of the purification device 134 is higher than the threshold value after the stopping condition is realized. Thus, restarting of the engine 22 is prevented by continuing the operation of the engine 22 when the temperature of the purification device 134 exceeds the threshold value, to prevent high temperature exhaust gas generated when starting in the ignition timing on the ignition timing delay side from flowing in the purification device 134. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of vibration during the idling operation of an internal combustion engine in which the opening and closing timing of an intake valve is variable. SOLUTION: A hybrid automobile 20 comprises a variable valve timing mechanism 150 and a lock pin 154 for fixing the variable valve timing mechanism 150 at the most retard angle position. When the requirements for idling are fulfilled and the fixing of the lock pin 154 at the most retard angle position at which a compression pressure in a cylinder is low is released, the engine 22 is idle-controlled at a position advanced from the most retard angle position. When the requirements for idling are fulfilled and the locking of the lock pin 154 at the most retard angle is not released, a control different from idling control is performed. Specifically, the controllable charging of a battery 50 or the stoppage of the engine 22 is selectively performed based on the remaining capacity SOC of the battery 50. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress air bubbles in fuel caused by the atmospheric pressure, in a fuel supply device capable of reducing the pressure of fuel inside a fuel supply pipe for supplying fuel to a cylinder fuel injection valve by using the atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: An automobile 20 is equipped with a high pressure pump 64 for further pressurizing fuel inside a fuel pipe 63 and supplying the fuel to a delivery pipe 66 to which the cylinder fuel injection valve 25 is connected, and with an electromagnetic-type relief valve 67 capable of reducing the pressure of pressurized fuel inside the delivery pipe 66 by using the atmospheric pressure. During stop of an engine 22, when the atmospheric pressure detected by an atmospheric pressure sensor 89 exceeds a threshold value, the relief valve 67 is opened only for opening time corresponding to the atmospheric pressure and fuel pressure, so as to reduce the fuel pressure. When the atmospheric pressure is below the threshold value, opening of the relief valve 67 is not performed. In this case, by using the atmospheric pressure correlated with presence/absence of air bubbles inside the delivery pipe 66, reduction of the fuel pressure inside the delivery pipe 66 is restricted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration of an internal combustion engine on startup, and to secure combustion stability on initial explosion. SOLUTION: In response to a request to start an engine, torque commands Tm1* and Tm2* are transmitted to motors MG1 and MG2 in such a state that intake air quantity is reduced until a surge tank internal pressure STP is turned to be a threshold STPref or less to carry out the motoring of the engine. Then, a compression force in a compression process is reduced, and vibration on startup is reduced, and inhalation air quantity is reduced, so that the torque on initial explosion is reduced, and that the vibration on initial explosion is reduced (S100 to S170). On the other hand, air is circulated in the engine in such a state that fuel is cut during motoring, and when the motoring time is prolonged, a section which should be originally gotten wet due to fuel is dried. Then, an increase value originated from motoring is set based on the motoring time so that fuel which should be supplied to combustion can be prevented from running out due to the attachment of fuel to the dried section, and combustion can be stably carried out on initial explosion as a result (S200 to S240). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize smooth engine start in a vehicle on which an internal combustion engine is mounted with an cylinder injector and an intake passage injector and in which engine intermittent operation is controlled, while preventing the worsening of the nature of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: When the operation of the vehicle is finished, a solenoid relief valve 210 is operated (opened) and the operation of a low pressure fuel pump 180 is stopped to lower fuel pressure in a high pressure delivery pipe 130 and a low pressure delivery pipe 160, thus preventing the worsening of the nature of exhaust gas during next engine start, resulting from the leakage of fuel due to poor oil tightness in the injectors 110, 120 during stopping the operation. On the contrary, when the engine is temporarily stopped with the control of the engine intermittent operation, the low pressure fuel pump 180 is stopped while the operation (opening) of the solenoid relief valve 210 is prohibited. When the engine is restarted after temporarily stopped, quick engine start is actualized by injecting fuel into the high pressure delivery pipe 130 in which fuel pressure is secured, considering that the engine has temperature rise. SOLUTION: When automatically starting an engine, upon a normal engine start, the amount of intake air is reduced by tightening the opening of a throttle valve (S140). When the driver presses down hard on the accelerator pedal, and an engine request power Pe* is a threshold value Pref or more, the throttle valve opening is an opening according to the request engine power Pe* (normal opening) and the amount of intake air is an amount corresponding to the engine demand power Pe* (S150). Cranking is performed to start the engine. Thereby, on a normal start of the engine, vibration at initial explosion can be suppressed, and when the requested engine power Pe* is large, driving power from the engine can be promptly outputted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of the regenerative power of a motor and enhance the energy efficiency of an entire vehicle in an automobile provided with the motor capable of generating power by power from an axle. SOLUTION: The automobile is provided with the motor MG2 connected with driving wheels 39a and 39b. When the regenerative power of the motor MG2 exceeds a limit value on the power with which a battery 50 can be charged, the excess power is consumed at an electric heater 66 and is stored as heat in a heat accumulation tank 65. When a request is made to start an engine 22, the setting of a three-way valve 68 is changed so that the heat exchange medium in the heat accumulation tank 65 is supplied to the engine 22 until the engine water temperature becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature. SOLUTION: In the control apparatus of the hybrid vehicle, a fuel port opening and closing sensor 120 detects that a fuel port 221a of a fuel tank 221 is opened and makes an operating state of an engine 12 a purge state. The sensor makes the operating state of the engine 12 the state of optimal fuel consumption when an integrated purge amount becomes a threshold or more. Negative pressure on an induction pipe 231 is large and the evaporation fuel is fully purged from the canister 251 when there is a large amount of an adsorbed amount of an evaporation fuel to the canister 251. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly change opening/closing timing of a valve after starting an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: When a start request for an engine is made, if an oil temperature Toil is not high in S140, a power output device sets a spark start number of rotations Nstart of the engine to a first number of rotations N1 in S150. If the oil temperature Toil is high, since the viscosity of operation oil is low and the oil pressure is slow in increasing, the device sets the number Nstart of the engine to a second number of rotations N2 larger the first number of rotations N1 in S160. By setting torque commands Tm1* and Tm2* using the number Nstart set in such a manner to transmit them to motors MG1, MG2 and by motoring the engine, the device surely unlocks a lock pin of a variable valve timing mechanism from a locking hole even when the oil temperature Toil is high. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in emission immediately after the starting of an internal combustion engine having a cylinder fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: When an engine is started in a condition that a start water temperature Twst is less than a predetermined temperature Tref, a value with a vehicle demand power P* limited by regarding a power limit Pemax1 as an upper limit is set to an engine demand power Pe* (S140-S170) so that the fuel injection amount of the cylinder fuel injection valve is limited until a piston top surface temperature Test1 becomes a predetermined temperature T1 or more for sufficiently vaporizing and completely burning fuel ejected from the cylinder fuel injection valve toward a piston top surface. A torque command Tm2* is set (S200-S220) to output a required torque Tr* to a driving shaft within a range of battery input/output limit Win, Wout, and an engine and a motor are controlled. Thereby, degradation in emission is suppressed which is caused by incomplete combustion of fuel ejected from the cylinder fuel injection valve while corresponding to the required torque Tr*.
