Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a sponge roll used in a fixing device as well as to smoothly rotate the sponge roll. SOLUTION: The loss coefficient (tanδ) of an elastic layer 11a of the sponge roll 11 used in a fixing device 10 is confined so that it becomes ≤0.15 when an oscillation having a frequency of 10 Hz is applied in a shear direction at 23°C. As a result, even in rotation under pressure, shear deformation of the elastic layer 11a is regulated and distortion occurs hardly, so that it is made easy to smoothly rotate the sponge roll 11 without requiring large power. Since hardness change and outside diameter change of the sponge roll 11 with time are small and break is suppressed, the durability of the sponge roll 11 is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic atomizer capable of suppressing generation of variation of a spray amount between production lots or between the same lot, and spraying a liquid at a predetermined spray amount, and to provide a method for adjusting the spray amount.SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic atomizer 1 including: a liquid storage part 14; a piezoelectric transducer 11; a diaphragm 12 having a microporous 113a; and a control part 30, on-off of energization to the piezoelectric transducer 11 is performed by the control part 30 so that the whole spray amount of the liquid is uniform regardless of an inner diameter error of the microporous of the diaphragm 12, and a liquid from the liquid storage part 14 is atomized by the diaphragm 12 by vibration of the piezoelectric transducer 11, and spray particles are sprayed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickness detection device capable of accurately detecting thicknesses of paper sheets, and a detection roller.SOLUTION: The thickness detection device includes a reference roller, a detection roller and a sensor. The reference roller has a first rotary shaft as the center of rotation. The detection roller is pressed by the reference roller, and uses as the center of rotation, a second rotary shaft provided in parallel with the first rotary shaft. The sensor detects the displacement of the detection roller relative to the second rotary shaft. The detection roller has a roller inner periphery fixed to the second rotary shaft and a roller outer periphery supported on the roller inner periphery and having a cylindrical shape. The roller inner periphery contains an elastic material whose damping coefficient tanδ is 0.2 or larger and 0.6 or smaller.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush which does not require high assembling accuracy while achieving cost reduction by reducing the number of components and long lifetime by preventing backlash. SOLUTION: A coupling pin 40 extending in the axial direction of an inner tube 32 is provided on the inside of the inner tube 32 in the radial direction, an expanded portion 42 which expands outward in the radial direction of the coupling pin 40 is provided on the coupling pin 40, shoulder portions 42a are provided on both sides of the expanded portion 42 in the axial direction, a bearing 50 which guides the rotation of the coupling pin 40 relative to the inner tube 32 is provided between the inner tube 32 and the expanded portion 42, bent portions 33 which are bent inward in the radial direction of the inner tube 32 are provided on both sides of the inner tube 32 in the axial direction, and elastic members 60 are respectively incorporated in spaces between the bent portions 33 and the shoulder portions 42a. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fibrous cotton for a wound part which is not easily stuck to the wound part and is excellent in sucking up and permeating exudate from the wound part. SOLUTION: The fibrous cotton for the wound part is composed of the fibrous cotton mixture of detachable fibrous cotton, antibacterial fibrous cotton and thermally adhesive fibrous cotton, and the mixture is partially fused by the thermally adhesive fibrous cotton.
