The device has a base part and a movable part pivotably linked to the base part about a pivot axis and a drive device with a cable that can be spooled on a cable drum for driving the movable part. The drive device has a push/pull rod with one end joined to the movable part or the base part at a distance from the pivot axis and its second end movably guided along a guide path approximately perpendicular to the pivot axis and two pull cables. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption of an on-vehicle battery, when holding a sliding door in a half-opening position. SOLUTION: An opening-closing body driving means 7 has a motor 14 controlled by a control means 13, and an electromagnetic clutch 17 capable of intermitting a motive power transmission passage for connecting the motor 14 and the sliding door; and holds the sliding door in the half-opening position between a full closure position and a full opening position by connecting the electromagnetic clutch 17 by stopping the motor 14. When holding the sliding door in the half-opening position, the control means 13 controls the electromagnetic clutch 17 in a half-opening holding connecting state so that voltage impressed on the electromagnetic clutch 17 becomes predetermined voltage lower than output voltage of the on-vehicle battery 30 being a power source of the electromagnetic clutch 17. Abstract:
The door-opening/closing apparatus includes a door, a driving unit that drives the door to close the door, a door movement detection unit that detects a movement of the door, an electrostatic switch that is mounted on the door for detecting a human's touching the door, and a judgment unit that judges whether the door is attempted to be closed. When the door movement detection unit detects a movement of the door, and when the electrostatic switch senses a human's touching the door, the judgment unit judges that the door is attempted to be closed, and then the driving unit drives to close the door.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door driving device which makes a power transmission mechanism in a joining state without supplying power to the power transmission mechanism, and reduces power consumption without requiring actuation of the power transmission mechanism at the time of swinging the vehicle door by driving the electric driving source and when holding the vehicle door at an arbitrary predetermined angular position by the power transmission. SOLUTION: The vehicle door driving device has: an electric driving source 51 disposed in a vehicle door 2; a rod member 54 turnably connected to a vehicle body; the power transmission mechanism 52; an operation means 33 actuating the power transmission mechanism 52 in the joining state and non-joining state; and a control means 31. The power transmission mechanism 52 is disposed between the electric driving source 51 and the rod member 54 in the vehicle door, apply the binding force of not less than the predetermined value against the oscillation relative to the vehicle body 1 of the vehicle door 2 and actuates the joining state capable of transmitting the driving force of the electric driving source 51 to the rod member 54 and the driving force of the electric driving source 51 in the separated state untransmittable to an advancing/retreating rod 54. The control means 31 supplies the power to the power transmission 52 so as to make the power transmission mechanism 52 into the non-joining state and controls the operation means 33 so as to make the power transmission mechanism 52 into the joining state and adjust the power supply to the power transmission mechanism.
