Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce volume of a thick and thin fuel combustion burner, to adapt it to a gas cooking stove or a gas water heater for domestic purpose, to reduce fouling of gas exhaust, and to stabilize combustion. SOLUTION: A thick fuel fire grating 20 and a thin fuel fire grating 30 are vertically arranged, and thick and thin fuel burner ports 211, 311 are arranged in a zigzag form. By supplying mixed gas from a thick fuel fire grating gas pipe 22, and mixed gas from a thin fuel fire grating gas pipe 32 through air supply pipes 21, 31 respectively to form thick and thin fuel combustion, a combustion state is composed of the thick and thin fuel combustion of the burner ports 211, 311 adjacent to each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sol of a nanosized photocatalyst and its application. SOLUTION: The sol of a spherical nano photocatalyst and a nonspherical nano photocatalyst is used in order to coat a photocatalyst layer on a base material. A coating layer of the photocatalyst which is hard and has a good adhesion and a good photocatalyst activity, can be obtained without a binder because of a stereospecific and tangled composite structure between the spherical photocatalyst and the nonspherical photocatalyst. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display with a reduced cost, having excellent brightness, high contrast, low switching voltage, and physical robustness for manufacturing and handling.SOLUTION: A display comprises at least one substrate 101, at least one conductive layer 102, and at least one electronically-modulated image forming layers 103, 104. The electronically-modulated image forming layer includes a densely-ordered single layer of a self-forming type that comprises a domain of an electronically-modulated material in a random-coil-fixed polymer matrix 103 and a filler; the polymer matrix is dried at a temperature higher than the sol-gel transition temperature.

The present invention relates to a method for the chemical separation of the enantiomers of 1,1'-spirobiindane-6,6'-diol derivatives comprising providing a racemic chiral 1,1'-spirobiindane-6,6'-diol derivative, reacting a nonracemic chiral component with the racemic chiral 1,1'-spirobiindane-6,6'-diol derivative to afford a mixture of diastereomeric diesters, separating the mixture of diastereomeric diesters to provide a substantially pure individual diastereomeric diester, and chemically removing the ester groups from the substantially pure individual diastereomeric diester to provide a nonracemic chiral 1,1'-spirobiindane-6,6'-diol derivative.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep-aid air conditioner system having a bed whose temperature is different between the head part and the leg part, and an air conditioner by adopting a design of a low-cost and simplified air conditioner. SOLUTION: This air conditioner orthogonally connected to a bed apparatus has a blowoff port. Air is sent from the blowoff port to a specific area of the bed apparatus and a relative hydraulic diameter ratio of the blowoff port is within a range of 0.45-0.85.
