Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device attaining both the reduction of stroke loss and the inhibition of vibration transmission at a control cable. SOLUTION: The support device 10 includes a hub 12, a cushion 14 and a housing 17 (composed of a bracket 18 and a mounting plate 16). In the support device 10, the cushion 14 and the housing 17 are set to satisfy the following three conditions. (1) The cushion volume fraction K of the bracket 18 is 67.0-73.5%. (2) The dynamic multiplication of the cushion 14 is 1.3-1.8. (3) The thickness L of the cushion 14 is 3.0-14.0 mm in a state that the cushion 14 is not contained in the bracket 18. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate quality management when applying end caulking processing to the end of a geared cable, irrespective of the quality of a material of the end. SOLUTION: The geared cable 1 is constituted of a geared cable body 7 formed by spirally winding an engagement wire 5 around the external periphery of a core wire 3 which is formed by twisting a plurality of strands, and the metal-made substantially cylindrical end 9. A pitch P 2 at a portion 5a where the caulking processing is applied to the end 9 in the engagement wire 5 spirally wound around the external periphery of the core wire 3 is set smaller than a pitch P 1 at a portion 5b where the engagement wire 5 spirally wound around the external periphery of the core wire 3 is engaged with a gear of a drive mechanism. Furthermore, swaging processing is applied to the caulking processing portion 5a. The end 9 is attached to the caulking processing region 5a applied with the swaging processing through the caulking processing. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology reducing abrasion of a coil spring in a cable-operated device. SOLUTION: The cable-operated device 50 moves a brake lever 52 connected to a cable 54 by advancing or retreating the cable 54. The cable-operated device 50 is provided with the brake lever 52, the cable 54, a supporting member 58 and the coil spring 56. The cable 54 has one end connected to the brake lever 52, and is arranged so as to be advanced or retreated with respect to the brake lever 52. The supporting member 58 supports the cable 54 on the cabling pathway. The coil spring 56 has one end fixed to the brake lever 52, and the other end fixed to the supporting member 58, and the cable 54 is inserted into an inner hole thereof. A guide surface 58b that makes contact with the coil spring 56 from the side part is formed on the supporting member 58. The guide surface 58b is subjected to alumite treatment. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat storage system absorbing a volume change of a latent heat storage material. SOLUTION: This latent heat storage system 1 includes: a trigger spring member 2; the latent heat storage material 3; and a case 6 having a case body 4 fluid-tightly partitioning a storage chamber 7 storing the trigger spring member 2 and the latent heat storage material 3 and hardly deformed according to the volume change of the latent heat storage material 3, and a volume change absorbing device 5 having a movable wall 500 for changing a volume of the storage chamber 7 by being moved according to the volume change of the latent heat storage material 3 in order to compensate a portion with the case body 4 hardly deformed. The trigger spring member 2 is deformed, the supercool state of the latent heat storage material 3 is canceled, and the warmup of an engine 91 is promoted by latent heat released from the latent heat storage material 3. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly specify positions of an inner hook or an outer hook from photographed images of a spiral spring. SOLUTION: A shape measuring device includes: an image input means for inputting the photographed images photographing the spiral spring; an image conversion means for preparing a polar coordinate images converting the photographed images in polar coordinates; and a hook position specifying means for specifying an inner hook position photographing the inner hook in the photographed images and/or an outer hook position photographing the outer hook by using the polar coordinate images. The device correctly specifies the positions of the inner hook and the outer hook from the photographed images of the spiral spring and correctly measures the shape of the spiral spring.
