    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device attaining both the reduction of stroke loss and the inhibition of vibration transmission at a control cable. SOLUTION: The support device 10 includes a hub 12, a cushion 14 and a housing 17 (composed of a bracket 18 and a mounting plate 16). In the support device 10, the cushion 14 and the housing 17 are set to satisfy the following three conditions. (1) The cushion volume fraction K of the bracket 18 is 67.0-73.5%. (2) The dynamic multiplication of the cushion 14 is 1.3-1.8. (3) The thickness L of the cushion 14 is 3.0-14.0 mm in a state that the cushion 14 is not contained in the bracket 18.
