    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating feeder for a gel negative active substance, which continuously feeds or injects a predetermined quantity of even a viscous gel negative active substance without impairing the uniformity in the composition thereof. SOLUTION: An agitating feeder for a gel negative active substance comprises a gel feed hopper 1 for feeding a gel negative active substance 2 housed and stored therein to a fixed-delivery pump 3, a gel feed pipe 4 inserted into and situated in the gel feed hopper 1 at its tip through which a predetermined quantity of the gel negative active substance 2 is forcibly fed from an injection pump 5, and an agitation mechanism 6 for agitating the gel negative active substance 2 housed in the gel feed hopper 1. The agitation mechanism 6 comprises a rotary shaft 6b rotated by a motor 6a as the drive source, a support bracket 6d attached cross to the rotary shaft 6b, and an agitation bar 6e attached at its one end to the tip of the support bracket 6d.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mix molding little chipped and cracked by forming the pressure faces of a molding die into tapered upper and lower shapes conically protruded at a specified angle to pressingly mold mix mainly containing active material. SOLUTION: Mix mainly containing active material is pressingly molded with a molding die to mold a battery mix. In this case, the mix incorporated with manganese dioxide as positive electrode active material, graphite and fluorine contained resin binder is manufactured by drying and pressingly molding. The molding die for pressingly molding has its pressure faces formed into tapered upper and lower shapes 8, 9 conically protruded at 0.01-0.05 degree. The positive electrode mix pressingly-molded in such a way is improved in discharge capacity during high load discharge, compared with a mix molded with a molding die which has its pressure face flattened. This is because roughness and density hardly occur in the mixture and chemical reaction is equalized in a battery. A mix molding little chipped and cracked is thus obtained.

The metallic lithium 1 and the current collecting body 2 are pressurized through the synthetic resin foil 5 for a pressing piece and the synthetic resin foil 6 for a pressure receiving piece.
