Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber member having composition of different rubber materials and a method of manufacturing the rubber member.SOLUTION: In a first process, each of a first rubber piece 11 containing a first cross-linking agent included in a first rubber material and having joining portions 11b, 11c in an uncross-linked state or an incomplete cross-linked state and a second rubber piece 21 containing a second cross-linking agent included in a second rubber material and having joining portions 21b, 21c in an uncross-linked state or an incomplete cross-linked state is produced. In a second process, the joining portions 11c, 21b are heated within a mold 5, and the first rubber piece 11 and the second rubber piece 21 are continuously interconnected at the joining portions 11c, 21b. The first rubber material and the second rubber material comprise different rubber materials, and both of the first cross-linking agent and the second cross-linking agent are an organic peroxide cross-linking agent. Thus, at the joining portions 11c, 21b, an end of the first rubber piece 11 and an end of the second rubber piece 21 are directly cross-linked and connected with each other.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber seal member capable of preventing both heavy metal pollution and deterioration caused by infrared rays.SOLUTION: In the rubber seal member for use in a process chamber comprising an infrared heater in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and the like, organic particles of a polyimide resin, a fluororesin and the like are contained as a filler, and a metal (heavy metal) having a specific gravity of 4 or more and a heavy-metal compound are not mixed. In the rubber seal member, a relative reflectance in a wavelength region of 740-1,240 nm is 20% or more when reflectance on a standard white board made of polytetrafluoroethylene is set at 100%. The rubber seal member is hardly deteriorated because infrared rays are reflected from a surface even when applied to the rubber seal member.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost metal floor post superior in corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: This metal floor post includes: a bedsill plate 13 which has a base material 1 made of an iron-based material and which is installed on a prescribed installation surface; a bearing plate 11 for bearing a floor load; and a turnbuckle portion 16 for adjusting height between the bedsill plate 13 and the bearing plate 11. The bedsill plate 13, the bearing plate 11 and the turnbuckle portion 16 are formed by press-molding Zn-6Al-3Mg alloy plating-coated steel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a vibration-damping metal which has reliably sufficient corrosion resistance and the mechanical life and also shows high damping characteristics, by using a generally available metal material. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes: preparing an alloy steel containing 8 wt.% or more chromium as a base material; forming a carbon-concentrated layer in which a surface layer part has a higher carbon concentration than that in a deep part by making carbon permeate the base material through the surface; thereby preparing the difference of sensitivity for sensitization between the surface layer part and the deep part; forming a sensitized layer in the surface layer part by heating and holding the layers under a heating condition that the surface layer part is sensitized and the deep part is not sensitized; and causing intergranular corrosion in grain boundaries of the sensitized layer to form a vibration-damping structure layer in the surface part while leaving the deep part in a form of a structure substantially having no chromium carbide precipitating in the grain boundaries.
