Abstract: サルモネラ菌などの有害な細菌に対しては高い抗菌性を示すが、動物の健康な成長に有用な乳酸菌に対しては低い抗菌性を示し、動物を健全に飼育できる飼料組成物及びこれを使用した動物の飼育方法を提供する。銀を担持したゼオライトを含有することを特徴とする飼料組成物;銀含有量2.5質量%の銀ゼオライトを使用した場合には、動物の飼育初期(A期間)には銀ゼオライト含有量が0.001〜0.2質量%の飼料組成物を投与し、飼育中間期(B期間)には銀ゼオライト含有量が0.001質量%未満の飼料組成物を投与し、その後出荷直前期(C期間)には銀ゼオライト含有量が0.01〜0.2質量%の飼料組成物を投与することを特徴とする動物の飼育方法。
