    摘要: PURPOSE: To separate components of a liquid mixture easily and at a low cost by selecting an immiscible desorbent for less adsorbable components. CONSTITUTION: A liquid mixture comprising a more adsorbable component A, such as carboxylic acid or the like, and a less adsorbable component B, such as water or the like, are separated by an absorption column. A desorbent D then used has a relative adsorbity of D>A>B. The liquid mixture is passed through the adsorption column filled with an adsorbent 40, the component A is first adsorbed by the adsorbent 40 and the component B discharges an enriched stream. Then the component A is removed from the adsorbent 40 by rinsing the adsorbent 40 in the adsorption column with the desorbent D immiscible with the component B, and also a first liquid phase stream comprising a mixture of the component A and the component B is withdrawn from the column, and a second liquid phase stream comprising the desorbent D and the component A is also withdrawn from the column and finally the desorbent D is removed thermally from the adsorbent in the column.

    摘要: PURPOSE: To obtain a reinforced resin and a composite material having properties such as excellent damage resistance, resin permeability, and strength by impregnating reinforcing fibers in a thermosetting resin, curing the resin, and placing a porous membrane film of a thermoplastic resin between fiber layers before curing. CONSTITUTION: In preparing a composite material consisting of reinforcing fibers embedded in a thermosetting resin matrix, the above fibers are impregnated in the above resin and the above resin is cured. Before the curing a porous membrane film of a thermoplastic material is placed between at least two layers in the above fibers. The porous membrane film has a porosity of 30 to 95%. As the thermoplastic material, polyester resin or the like is used. As the thermosetting resin, epoxy resin or the like is used. As the fiber, carbon fiber or the like is used. The layers are placed in an autoclave or a press and cured at an elevated temperature.

    摘要: PURPOSE: To obtain a remote sensor for sensing a target gas in the atmosphere while being mounted on a moving airborne base. CONSTITUTION: An adjustable laser source, preferably a pulse laser source, comprises a solid state laser connected with at least two adjustable laser diodes 31, 39 generating at least two laser beams in the infrared region of spectrum. At least one beam can be adjusted for the resonance frequency of a target gas. The remote sensor comprises means for directing a beam toward a land or the reflective surface of ocean in coaxial transmission mode and analyzing the beam through the atmosphere. The beam has such wavelength as the on- resonance beam is attenuated due to presence of a target gas (if any in the atmosphere) but the off-resonance beam is not attenuated by the target gas.
