PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To brightly illuminate a light transmission character plate with light emitting diodes at night, and illuminate the light transmission character plate from its rear surface while generating electricity using a solar beam in the daytime. SOLUTION: A road traffic sign of an inner lighting type is constituted by the light transmission character plate 1, a lighting plate 2, a solar battery panel 4 and a reflective plate 5 which are laminated to each other. In the daytime, the solar beam transmitted through the light transmission character plate 1 and the lighting plate 2 is led into the solar battery panel 4 so as to generate the electricity to charge a secondary battery 6, and the solar beam transmitted through the solar battery panel 4 is reflected on the reflective plate 5 thereby illuminating the light transmission character plate 1 from its rear surface with the light beam transmitted through the solar battery panel 4 and the lighting plate 2. At night, the light emitting diodes 3 are lit using a secondary battery 6 so as to emit the light beam from both the surfaces of the lighting plate 2, wherein the light beam emitted from the front surface of the lighting plate 2 illuminates the light transmission character plate 1 from its rear surface, and the light beam emitted from the rear surface of the lighting plate 2 is led into the solar battery panel 4 for generating the electricity so that the light beam transmitted through the solar battery panel 4 is reflected on the reflective plate 5, thereby illuminating the light transmission character plate 1 from its rear surface with the light beam transmitted through the solar battery panel 4 and the lighting plate 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively display a large pattern and to surely turn on many light emitting diodes with more uniform brightness without adjustment even when changing the number of light emitting diodes. SOLUTION: A lighting device is connected to a power supply device 3 in a state in which leads 2 of a plurality of light emitting diodes 1 are electrically connected. The power supply device 3 is provided with a flexible insulating layer 4 and a conductive foam layer 5 laminated on both surfaces of the insulating layer 4. The conductive foam layer 5 is made of a synthetic resin foam with leads 2 of light emitting diodes 1 inserted thereto and has conductivity to be conductive to leads 2 of inserted light emitting diodes 1 and has flexibility to be deformed together with the insulating layer 4. In the lighting device, a pair of leads 2 of a light emitting diode 1 are inserted to the conductive foam layer laminated on both surfaces of the insulating layer 4, and the conductive foam layer 5 is connected to a power source, and power is supplied from the conductive foam layer 5 to the leads 2 of the light emitting diode 1 to turn on the light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION:This is a ball feeder for a soft work of such structure that the center of a work discharge support tool having a plurality of arms with specified feet is put on the center of the bottom of the ball feeder 1 which has a function of discharging works by a fixed quantity at a time by vibration from a work discharge port 2. Moreover, for a very soft and adhesive work, the work is discharged and supplied forcedly by annexing a drive source to the top of the center of the work discharge support tool.

PURPOSE:To efficiently pulverize a supply material with small-sized motors by constituting the device in such a manner that the torque sensor of a control means detects the rotating torque of cutter shafts and rotates cutter blades backward when the rotating torque attains a set value or higher so as to prevent stopping of the cutter shafts by overloading at the time of nipping off the supply material. CONSTITUTION:The control means 14 controls a driving means 2 to rotate motors 7 backward and to rotate motor shafts 1 backward when the current sensor of the torque sensor 13 detects the current of the set value or above. Further, the cutter blades 4 are provided with forward rotating blades and backward rotating blades. The supply material is pulverized with the forward rotating blades by rotating the cutter shafts 1 forward, and with the backward rotating blades at the time of rotating the cutter shafts backward. The relative postures of the supply material with the cutter shafts 1 change and the supply material is efficiently cut by the overloading cutter shafts 1 if the pulverizing positions of the supply material are changed by rotating the cutter shafts 1 forward and backward in such a manner. The small-sized motors which cannot rotate the overloading cutter shafts 1 are, therefore, usable for the pulverizing device with the backward rotating cutter blades.

PURPOSE:To automatically open and shut a window upon sensing the temp. and rain outdoors and save energy in an air conditioner facility by fixing a rack to the window side, arranging a control box, and furnishing a sensor on the outside. CONSTITUTION:A rack 4 is fixed to the movable window 1 side with adhesives or screws, and a control box 8 is secured to the rack 4 using wood screws upon generating meshing of the rack 4 with a pinion 9. A temp. sensor 10 and a rain sensor 6 are installed outside of the window 1, and a left and a right stopper switch 2, 3 are secured by wood screws. When the outside air temp. has exceeded over the set temp. level, a motor in the control box 8 starts to rotate the pinion 9 to transmit force to the rack 4. Thereby the window is opened to the position which actuates the left stopper switch 2, and shuts automatically when the temp. is under the set level or when rain falls, to preclude the rain from intruding and/or the room temp. from dropping excessively.

The gas compressor comprises a piston shaft 43 which performs a linear motion in the reciprocation direction of a piston 41 by a piston-type forced transfer machine 4A reciprocating the piston 41 in a cylinder 40, and a reciprocation mechanism 34 which reciprocates the piston shaft 43. An opening on the side of the reciprocation mechanism 34 of the cylinder 40 is closed by a closing plate 47, and the closing plate 47 airtightly closes a surface of the slidably-penetrating piston shaft 43 by a seal 48.

The light guide plate 2 includes numerous light diffusion parts 4 for irradiating light transmitting through an inside of the light guide plate toward outside wherein the diffusion parts are formed in lines or dots. In the lighting system, light transmitting inside the light guide plate 2 while being reflected by total reflection is irradiated toward outside by the light diffusion parts 4 so as to irradiate the display plate 1, and light reflected from the display panel 1 is transmitted through the light guide plate 2 so as to be radiated toward outside. Further, the light guide plate 2 includes a light shielding layer 5 formed linearly or dotted on an outside of each light diffusion part 4, and light irradiated from each light diffusion part 4 toward outside is blocked by the light shielding layer 5.

In the power supply sheet, first and second sheet-like conductive layers containing carbon fibers and having flexibility are tightly adhered to each other while pinching an insulating layer having the flexibility. In the lighting device, short leads of the light-emitting diodes are inserted into the first sheet-like conductive layer to be electrically connected to the first sheet-like conductive layer, long leads are passed through and inserted into the first sheet-like conductive layer and the insulating layer to be connected to the second sheet-like conductive layer, and by insulating at least parts of the long leads connected to the first sheet-like conductive layer and by making electrical connection to the long leads from the second sheet-like conductive layer, the light-emitting diodes are energized to make them emit light. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for raising a plant designed to be controlled so that the plant in various states can be irradiated with light in an ideal state and further effectively grow the plant in a low-temperature environment, and to provide a method for growing the plant using the apparatus for raising the plant. SOLUTION: The apparatus for raising the plant is designed to electrically connect a plurality of light-emitting diodes 1, energize the diodes and irradiate light on the plant. The apparatus for raising the plant is provided with a heat insulating layer 3 at a position near the light-emitting diodes 1 in the direction opposite to the side of light irradiation of the light-emitting diodes 1. The method for growing the plant is carried out as follows. The plurality of light-emitting diodes 1 are arranged on the top surface of cultivation soil 20 and heat insulation of the direction opposite to the side of light irradiation with the light-emitting diodes 1 is carried out with the heat insulating layer 3 which is arranged at the position near the light-emitting diodes 1 to keep the light-emitting diodes 1 warm with the heat insulating layer 3. The cultivation soil 20 is irradiated with light by the light-emitting diodes 1 in a heat insulated state and the cultivation soil 20 is warmed with the light-emitting diodes 1 in the heat insulated state to grow the plant. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding dissimilar materials, which can sufficiently utilize the input heat of the laser irradiation and can suppress the generation of intermetallic compounds to a minimum while allowing the difference of physical properties, such as a melting point and a coefficient of thermal conductivity, does not require preheating, excessive pretreatments and posttreatments, and further can achieve a bonded portion which is excellent in both of the shearing strength and peel strength. SOLUTION: A first plate material 3 and a second plate material 4, which are dissimilar materials, are joined together. A laser beam 1 is irradiated to the neighborhood of the joined portion. The first plate material 3 and the second plate material 4 are pressed and bonded by means of a roller 2. The method for bonding dissimilar materials comprises a step for unbalancedly heating the first plate material 3 or the second plate material 4 up to almost their melting points by irradiating the laser beam 1 to any of the position 5 shifted to the first plate material 3 from the jointed surface or the position 6 shifted to the second plate material 4 from the jointed surface, and a step for joining the irradiated surface of one of the plate material unbalancedly heated by the laser beam 1 with the other plate material, and applying a pressing force larger than a close contact pressure to the joined surface by means of the roller 2.
