    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce parasitic capacitance of gate electrode and to reduce increase of gate length of a semiconductor device such as a field effect transistor or a HEMT and the method therefor. SOLUTION: A first insulating film 12, a second insulating film 13 and a third insulating film 14 are formed in order on the surface of a compound semiconductor substrate 11. After that first, second and third openings 15, 16 and 17 are respectively made through the first, second and third insulating films 12, 13 and 14. A T-type gate electrode 18 is formed on the third insulating film and contacts with the surface of the compound semiconductor substrate 11 through each opening 15 to 17 of the insulating film. The T-type gate electrode is constituted of a leg part 18a of a T-type gate and an overhang part 18b of an upper part of the T-type gate. A cavity 19 is formed between the second insulating film 13 and the leg part 18a of the T-type gate.

SOLUTION: Heating elements 40a, 40c... and cooling elements 40b, 40d... are alternately arranged laterally in a temp. space forming device 40. The temp. distribution changing approximately to a sinusoidal form over a range of prescribed temps. T1 , T2 like a curve P is obtd. by the this temp. space forming device 40 constituted in such a manner. Since the heating elements and the cooling elements are alternately arranged, the smectic liquid crystals L in the liquid crystal cell repeat the phase transition between an isotropic liquid phase and a smectic phase in the process in which the liquid crystal cells move in the temp. space forming device 40. A change arises in the flow property of the smectic liquid crystals L and the movement of the liquid crystal cells in the progressing direction arises according to thereto. As a result, the packing of the smectic liquid crystals into the parts not packed with the liquid crystals which arises thus far after the injection of the smectic liquid crystals L is executed.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated oxygen sensor element causing no crack of solid electrolyte on element crack to occur in a cold heat cycle atmosphere or a steam-containing gas atmosphere. SOLUTION: The laminated oxygen sensor element comprises a solid electrolyte 11 and an alumina board 16 provided integrally with the electrolyte 11. The electrolyte 11 is formed out of partially stabilized zirconia in which at least C phase (cubic phase), M phase (monoclinic phase) and T phase (tetragonal phase) are mixed. The thermal expansion coefficient difference between the alumina and the partially stabilized zirconia is in a range of 0 to 0.2%. The intensity ratio of the X-ray diffraction intensity of the specific specific crystal surface of the C phase to that of the specific crystal surface of the M phase satisfies a specified relation. The change of the diffraction intensity ratio when the electrolyte 11 is heated to 200 to 300 deg.C is in a range of -0.05 to +0.10.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating feeling of an air passage changeover device. SOLUTION: In the downstream of an evaporator 2, an inner wall 7 on which a cold passage opening 5 and a hot air passage opening 6 are formed is formed along the whole passage of a case 1. This inner wall 7 is inclined in the direction to make the part on the upper sides of the cold air passage opening 5 and the hot air passage opening 6 downstream. Between the inner wall 7 and the evaporator 2, an air mixing door 9 is provided. A door main body 9a is displaced along the inner wall 7, and regulates the ratio of the air flowing into a cold air passage 3 and a hot air passage 4. The air passing through the evaporator 2 is decomposed into the upward force along a plane 21, and a force in the direction vertical to the plane 21. Consequently, the operating force necessary to displace the door main body 9a upward can be reduced. As a result, the operation feeling can improved.

SOLUTION: A second rotor 1210 and a first rotor 1310 and stator 1410 are arranged on the same shaft inside T-S converter 1000, and field magnets 1220 and 1420 forming a magnetic circuit are constituted in opposite to the second rotor 1210 and stator 1410 in the first rotor 1310 thereby controlling the number of revolutions and torque by performing mutual electromagnetic action between the first rotor and second rotor and stator. At this time, a transfer mechanism 1800 for supplying electric power to the second rotor is formed contactlessly between a shaft 1213 and a housing 1710, so that tone efficiency of supplying and receiving the electric power from an inverter 200 for the second rotor can be enhanced.

SOLUTION: When a clutch is in a released state, an on/off solenoid valve 11 is in the closed state and a spool 19 is in a position toward the left side from a position illustrated in a figure so that a drain (D) and a communicating path 21 are in a communicated state. When the on/off solenoid valve 11 is switched to an open state, the spool 5 moves from the position illustrated in the figure to the right direction due to lowering of the pressure of a pressure chamber 7 and a pressure supply path 8 and input ports 12, 13 are communicated with each other so that a clutch pressure of an oil pressure chamber of a clutch 1 increases by enhancing its pressure gradient. Secondarily, the pressure of the communicating path 21 gradually increases, the spool 19 moves to the position illustrated in the figure and a flow path passing through notches 17, 18 is throttled so that the clutch pressure increases slowly. When the clutch pressure increases, the spool 19 moves further in the right direction, the input port 13 and the communication path 21 are communicated with each other, and a pressure increases gradient is enlarged again.

SOLUTION: A housing case 10 for overflow valve is composed of a small diameter part 12, a large diameter part 13, and a blank cap 14. At first, two washers 9 are superposed on each other when an overflow valve 5 is assembled to a valve main body 6, and the two washers 9 are moved to the level one washer is abutted to a nut 7. Then, the valve main body 6 of the overflow valve 5 is inserted in the housing hole 11 of the housing case 10. Finally, the blank cap 14 of the housing case 10 housing the overflow valve 5 is screwed and fastened in the fuel passage 2a of the nipple 2 of a fuel injection pump 1. Since the fuel injection pump 1 and the overflow valve 5 can be packed integrally by using the housing case 10, the packing work can be carried out simply.
