PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the coating quality by eliminating affect by a hysteresis phenomenon of a used device like an adjusting valve when controlling a flow rate, and by attaining stable flow rate regulation. SOLUTION: In the paint feed control by an air-operated flow control device discharging a regulated flow, being operated by receiving control air from a control valve via the open/close control valve feeding the compressed air pressure set by remote control for paint feed to a spray gun, the pressure is set lower than a target value, then set to the target value. In changing the set value, the value is once returned to a low value (zero) and then set to the target value. This operation is incorporated in a recording device as a program control. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that mass productivity and simplification of equipment are excellent but consumption of a coating material is much and the improvement of a coating efficiency is needed in a spindle coating. SOLUTION: In the spindle coating to coat a plurality of materials to be coated by using a spray gun, the coating over the entire part is performed by performing spray coating in the state of respectively placing the materials on holders rotating both clockwise and counterclockwise. Conventionally, the gun is made to spray the coating material continuously to spray the coating material to the entire area during the passage of the materials to be coated and it is found out that the coating effect is hardly obtained during the rotation (movement) of the materials to be coated in a direction apart from the gun. The materials to be coated are therefore placed on the rotating holders and the coating material is sprayed only when the materials to be coated come toward the gun. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply the accurate amounts of respective liquids to a mixing apparatus even when there are three or more liquids and by any mixing ratio, and to mix coating materials by a highly accurate mixing ratio. SOLUTION: A plurality of cylinders of a cylinder pump 2 driven by a servo motor for discharging a fixed quantity corresponding to a pulse number are connected and simultaneously driven, the liquids supplied from a supply liquid container into the respective cylinders are discharged in a discharge process, respective discharge paths are communicated with a mixer 1 through respective switch valves, and the other paths of the switch valves are configured to return flow to the supply liquid container of the respective cylinders. The switch valve is controlled so as to perform discharge to the mixer side during the pulse number corresponding to the required discharge amount of the respective liquids and to return the flow to the supply liquid container during the other case in the discharge process. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for collecting coating material sludge provided with a centrifugal separation tank to which water containing the coating material sludge and stored in a water tank in a wet type coating chamber is introduced, and which performs centrifugal separation to clean the water introduced, the centrifugal separation tank is provided with a lid having an opening for introducing the water to be treated to the center and discharging the water purified, and a container for containing the coating material sludge left and accumulated in the centrifugal separation tank by the centrifugal separation. The container includes a plurality of divided sludge boxes arranged on the circumference in such a way that they can be individually taken out from the inside of the centrifugal separation tank. SOLUTION: In the coating robot provided with a manipulator with a spray gun mounted on operated based on given data and a controller controlling the operation of the manipulator, the mounted spray gun and the like, a coating supplying device operated and controlled by the controller is constituted of a pressure sensor and a gear pump driven by a servomotor of which the number of revolution is controlled by the output signal from the controller, is explosion-proof, and is installed in the vicinity of the manipulator arranged at the coating place to make the length of a coating hose connected to the spray gun shortest. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable and accurate opening of a neelde valve to adjust the amount of the coating sprayed by a spray gun in order to reduce the burden of the operator. SOLUTION: A device for adjusting the amount of the coating sprayed has a needle valve which is opened separately in contact with the spraying outlet of a coating nozzle arranged at the tip of a spray gun for coating and controls the spraying of the coating, and a stopper regulating the retreat of the needle valve is arranged on the back-end side of the needle valve to enable an adjustment of the position of the needle valve. The stopper consists of a spindle moving forward and backward through a rotation screw. With a mark serving as the base line given to the knob of the rotation screw, a ratchet mechanism rendering blank the rotation of the rotation screw under a specified load when the spindle moving forward and backward through rotation moves forward. The graduation for reading the position of the mark on the knob of the rotation screw is formed on the body of the spray gun, and the mark and graduation are indicated on the backward face of the spray gun so as to render the zero point variable. SOLUTION: Each storage point in PTP teaching of the coating robot is stored when a work is previously irradiated by an irradiation means responding to a sensitive material applied or stuck to the work, and the completion of storage for each storage point is displayed according to the reaction at that time to be visually confirmed. At the stage before coating material is sprayed, the storage point of the whole material to be coated can be simply confirmed by the sensitive material, whereby redundancy and deletion are prevented so that teaching is easily and accurately provided. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve and stabilize painting quality by appropriately measuring a flow rate checked by a flowmeter, accurately managing feedback control and dissolving the problem attendant upon precipitation of paint even when precipitable paint is used in flow rate control of spray paint in automatic painting. SOLUTION: The flowmeter is provided in a paint feeding pathway where a flow rate control valve is arranged, measuring result of the flowmeter is fed back to an arithmetic unit and the flow rate control valve is operated. In this feed back control, measurement by the flowmeter is linked with spraying action of a spray gun and a value only at the time of spraying is used for arithmetic control. When a return valve is added and a circulation path is provided for the precipitable paint, the return valve is opened at the time of spray off, the measured value by the flowmeter at this time is input in the arithmetic unit so as not to be fed back and feedback control is performed by measured value only at the time of spray on. In particular, the air tank is made to have, for example, an O-shape in a plan view, a U-shape in a plan view, or the like capable of surrounding a plane, and is disposed to surround the spray gun body and the paint tank.
