    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type light irradiation apparatus that is simple in construction, and is able to be inserted into a thinner blood vessel than conventional without damaging it, irradiate light to the thin blood vessel it was inserted into precisely in the radial direction of the blood vessel, is uneasy to be subject to the interferences of electromagnetic waves from outside the apparatus or the apparatus itself, and stably and smoothly irradiate the thin blood vessel with light precisely in its radial direction. SOLUTION: It is a rotary type light irradiating apparatus, wherein it includes a light irradiating part 3 to irradiate an object with light, a rotary driving part 4 to rotate the light irradiating part 3, and a light transmission part 2 to guide light to the light irradiating part 3. The rotary driving part 4 includes a light deformation device 43 deformed by irradiation with driving light. The light deformation device 43 generates rotary driving forces by its deformation. The light irradiating part 3 takes part of the transmitted light as the irradiation light.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator that generates driving force by curvature utilizing a difference of a thermal expansion coefficient and has proper responsiveness, and to provide a driving device that uses the actuator and an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The actuator includes a movable part where a plurality of layers including a first layer, a second layer having a larger thermal expansion coefficient than the first layer, and a third layer having a larger heat conductivity than the first and second layers are layered and which is deformed according to heating. The actuator has a fixed part which is constituted integrally with the third layer or is constituted to be brought into contact with the third layer, and has a heat-radiating region, including a heat conduction part having a larger heat conductivity than the first and second layers, and in which the movable part is fixed.
