    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure jet flow by surely introducing laser beam into the jet flow while preventing decay by laser beam. SOLUTION: This combined machining device comprises a nozzle head 1 injecting a high-pressure water and a radiation device radiating laser beam, and machines a work by laser beam and high-pressure water jet flow. The device further comprises a nozzle 3 installed on a high-pressure water path outlet side 6b of the nozzle head 1 and having a through-hole 7 communicating with a path outlet side opening. After totally deflecting the radiated laser beam against boundary surface with the path outlet side opening 6b, the nozzle 3 introduces the totally reflected laser beam into the jet flow from the side surface of the through-hole 7. The nozzle 3 is made of sapphire or diamond. The radiation device radiates laser beam from a nozzle outer part to the nozzle 3 through a reflector 15. An incident angle of the laser beam incident from the nozzle 3 into the jet flow is equal to or more than that on a boundary surface between the nozzle 3 and the air.
