PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely verify operation of a device connected to an on-vehicle network.SOLUTION: In a vehicle operation verification system, including a verification device connected to an on-vehicle network and a verification target device, an operation verification command is transmitted from the verification device to the verification target device, to verify an operation of the verification target device based on a response result corresponding to the verification. Here, a timing for the verification device to transmit the operation verification command is set to be a case where: an information circulation volume in the on-vehicle network is equal to or less than a first predetermined volume; and a load on the verification target device is equal to or less than a second predetermined volume. A correlation between data content transmitted onto the on-vehicle network and a load status of the verification target device is preferably pre-stored in a storage means so that the load status of the verification target device is obtained by monitoring what kind of data is being transmitted.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and information processing method capable of preferably ensuring security for a network in a mobile body to an external network outside the mobile body while enabling communication with the external network.SOLUTION: A DMZ 60 for performing information processing is connected to a plurality of networks including a control system bus 10 connected to a control system apparatus (ECU) in a vehicle, an information system bus 20 connected to an information system apparatus in the vehicle, and an external bus 30 connected to an external apparatus in the vehicle. The DMZ 60 comprises: first to third FW units 62 to 64 connected to the control system bus 10, the information system bus 20, and the external bus 30, respectively; and a processing unit 70 connected to the control system bus 10, the information system bus 20, and the external bus 30 through the first to third FW units 62 to 64, where at least the control system bus 10 is separated from the information system bus 20 and the external bus 30.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of communication between application programs at low cost.SOLUTION: An information processing device which is connected to a bus for communication with external devices and executes a plurality of application programs includes: instruction execution means for executing instructions from the plurality of application programs; a controller for performing control on the basis of a communication protocol adopted for communication with the external devices; and a driver for controlling the controller. The driver includes: a plurality of interface units associated with the plurality of application programs; and a common processing unit for executing instructions from the plurality of application programs. The communication between the plurality of application programs is performed under the control of the driver.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection communication method in which format compatibility is secured and security is improved in a CAN.SOLUTION: The protection communication method for protecting data received/transmitted on the basis of a CAN communication protocol includes: generating a MAC (message authentication code) (S46); encrypting the MAC and transmission data (S48); storing the encrypted MAC, serial numbers, and a work key ID in an identifier expansion area of an expansion format in the CAN communication protocol, storing a standard format compatible message ID in an identifier base area of the expansion format, and storing the encrypted transmission data in the data area of the expansion format (S49); and transmitting the message in the expansion format (S49).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method that can appropriately exchange data even if a communication state changes between a mobile object and an external device that are exchanging the data.SOLUTION: A communication system communicates a group of data including multiple types of vehicle data between an on-vehicle communication device 21 mounted on a vehicle and a first service server outside the vehicle via a communication line. The communication system comprises: a transmission time calculation unit 228 that calculates the transmission rate of the communication line on the basis of the transmission state of the vehicle data via the communication line; a data editing unit 222 that adjusts the amounts of the respective pieces of vehicle data forming the data group to the amounts of data corresponding to the calculated transmission rate respectively, and generates a communication object data group on the basis of the data with the adjusted amounts of data; and a data transmission unit 227 that transmits the data group generated by the data editing unit 222 via the communication line.

Next, n normality determination parts 14 perform processing in a parallel manner, and output a normality determination result 24 (S13). A determination part 16 confirms whether a variant 13 determined to be "certainly normal" in normality determination exists (S21). In the case that the variant 13 exists (Y of S21), the determination part 16 outputs an intermediate output value 23 of the variant 13 determined to be "certainly normal" as the final output value 25 (S23).
