    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation apparatus which has a high distortion compensation performance even in a TDD system or a communication system, wherein an average power of transmission signals is temporally varied, and shortens a convergence time required for following distortion compensation. SOLUTION: The distortion compensation apparatus includes: a data sampling section 4 for acquiring a transmission signal before distortion compensation and the transmission signal amplified during a transmission time in which a high output amplifier 2 is turned on; an LUT calculation section 5 for calculating inverse distortion characteristic data of the high output amplifier 2 based on the signal obtained by the data sampling section 4; a predistorter 1 for compensating for distortion, that occurs in the high output amplifier 2, for the transmission signal while using the inverse distortion characteristic data calculated by the LUT calculation section 5; and a sample position control section 6 for controlling a temporal position of signal acquisition due to the data sampling section 4 so as not to continuously obtain signals corresponding to an initial interval in which the high output amplifier 2 is turned on and the transmission time is started.
