    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat device in which any play or abnormal noise can be suppressed even when various kinds of loads and vibrations are applied, and the operational performance can be reliably maintained as necessary. SOLUTION: A projecting part 45 formed on a body part 30 and a lid part 50 is brought into elastic contact with a plate part 61 of an arm 6 by a space formed in a casing 3 to absorb the clearance provided between the arm 6 and the casing 3. Since only the projecting part 45 is brought into contact with the arm 6, and a space is provided in another part, friction resistance is reduced, and the arm 6 is smoothly turned.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle equipped with a power seat device and a power seat belt device, capable of driving the two devices with one common driving means by changing over the transmitting path of the driving force to them and thereby capable of decreasing the number of driving means. SOLUTION: The seat for vehicle is equipped with a common motor 30 to drive the power seat device 10 and the power seat belt device 20, a seat switch 31 to select the use of the power seat device 10 or the power seat belt device 20, and a changeover means 32 to transmit the power of the motor 30 to either of a seat sliding mechanism 11 and a retractor 21 according to the changing-over of the seat switch 31, whereby the power seat device 10 and the power seat belt device 20 can be driven by one common motor 30, which allows reducing the cost, facilitating the layout around the seat for installation of the motor 30, and achieving a lightweight construction.
