Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment line for a sack-shaped workpiece, which has an improved technology of applying a rust preventive oil so as to prevent the surface of the plated film from lowering its quality in the surface treatment for the sack-shaped workpiece, and to provide a surface treatment method therefor. SOLUTION: The surface treatment line L which forms a predetermined plated film on the sack-shaped workpiece having a sack-shaped space 5 and then applies a rust preventive oil to the plated film cincludes: a workpiece-cleaning section 17 that cleans the sack-shaped workpiece in which the predetermined plated film has been formed, with a cleaning water; a workpiece-drying section 18 for removing a free water which deposits on the sack-shaped workpiece that has been cleaned in the workpiece-cleaning section 17; and a rust preventive oil application section 19 for applying the rust preventive oil onto the sack-shaped workpiece which has been dried in the workpiece-drying section 18.
