    摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet reversing device reversing a sheet on which an image has been formed, an image forming device such as a copy machine capable of reversing the traveling direction of the sheet on which an image is formed or discharge while preventing or suppressing the increase of an installation area, a facsimile, a printer, and a composite machine of the like of these instruments;, and a post-processing device used for the image forming device, and performing predetermined post-processing to the sheet on which an image is formed and of which the traveling direction is reversed while preventing or suppressing the increase of the installation area. SOLUTION: An image forming portion 99 forming an image on a sheet, and a sheet reversing portion 41 receiving the sheet on which the image is formed and reversing the traveling direction of the sheet to discharge are used. When the sheet (a-1, a-2, a-3) concerning the interrupting processing are output to the sheet stack section 3a and the image forming processing including the post processing is restarted, the sheets (b-1, b-2) are output approximately at the same time as the restarting ((F)).
