摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antigen binding proteins that bind to proprotein convertase subtilisin kexin type 9 (PCSK9) and methods of using and making the antigen binding proteins.SOLUTION: Described herein are isolated neutralizing antigen binding proteins that bind to a PCSK9 protein comprising a specific amino acid sequence and decrease the LDLR lowering effect of PCSK9 on LDLR. Also described are methods of treating hypercholesterolemia and other disorders by administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of an antigen binding protein to PCSK9. Also described are methods of detecting the amount of PCSK9 in a sample by using an antigen binding protein to PCSK9.
