摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved thermographic and photothermographic materials comprising a barrier layer suitable for providing physical protection while preventing diffusion of various chemicals from thermally developable materials in thermal development. SOLUTION: The thermally developable materials comprise a support having thereon one or more thermally developable imaging layers comprising a binder and, in reactive association, a non-photosensitive source of reducible silver ions and a reducer composition for the non-photosensitive source of reducible silver ions. The materials further comprise a barrier layer comprising a cellulose ether polymer, present over the same support surface as the one or more imaging layers, and remoter from the support than the one or more imaging layers. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the post-treatment stability of a photothermographic material. SOLUTION: The black-and-white photothermographic material is sensitive at a wavelength greater than 700 nm, and includes a support having thereon one or more thermally developable imaging layers containing a binder and in reactive association, a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive source of reducible silver ions, a reducing composition for the non-photosensitive source reducible silver ions and a spectral sensitizing dye for the photosensitive silver halide which is a merocyanine dye or a cyanine dye having one or more thioalkyl, thioaryl or thioether groups. The one or more thermally developable layers further contain a substituted propenenitrile compound and one or more indolenine dyes as post-processing stabilizing compounds.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image uniformity as well as to reduce mottle in a photothermographic imaging material. SOLUTION: A photothermographic material is provided which includes a support having thereon one or more thermally developable imaging layers comprising a binder and, in reactive association, a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive supply source of a reducible silver ion and a reducing composition for the non-photosensitive supply source of a reducible silver ion. The one or more thermally developable imaging layers further comprise one or more radiant ray absorbing compounds giving a total absorbance of >0.6 to 3 at the wavelength of exposure light. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier layer for protection suitable for a thermally developable material. SOLUTION: A thermally developable material having the following (a) and (b) on a support is provided; (a) one or more thermally developable imaging layers comprising a binder and a non-photosensitive reducible silver ion source and a reducing composition for the non-photosensitive reducible silver ion source combined in such a way that they react and (b) a barrier layer disposed farther from the support than the imaging layers on the imaging layer side of the support and comprising a film-forming acrylic or methacrylic acid ester or amide polymer(s) that has at least 8,000 g/mole molecular weight and comprises recurring units derived from one or more polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated acrylic or methacrylic acid ester or amide monomers, wherein 15-100 mole % of the recurring units of the polymer are derived from monomers having hydroxy functionality.
