SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a silver halide emulsion comprising silver halide particles having a silver chloride content of ≥90 mol%, a silver iodide content of 0-2.0 mol% and a silver bromide content of 0.02-5.0 mol%, and containing two or more group VIII metal compounds including one or more iridium compounds within the silver halide particles, the silver halide particles are sensitized with selenium in the presence of at least one thiosulfo compound added beforehand. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material comprises a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for heat development, and a binder. The heat developable photosensitive material contains a fluorine compound which has a fluorinated alkyl group having two or more carbon atoms and twelve or less fluorine atoms. 摘要: Chemical sensitization of silver halide photothermographic emulsions used in photothermographic elements, can be effected by the decomposition of sulfur containing compounds on or around the surface of the silver halide grains, usually under oxidizing conditions at elevated temperatures. Alignment of the sulfur containing compounds on the surface of the grains, can be accomplished with spectral sensitizing dyes and appears to be particularly effective in providing strong chemical sensitization effects.

SOLUTION: The black-and-white photothermographic material is sensitive at a wavelength greater than 700 nm, and includes a support having thereon one or more thermally developable imaging layers containing a binder and in reactive association, a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive source of reducible silver ions, a reducing composition for the non-photosensitive source reducible silver ions and a spectral sensitizing dye for the photosensitive silver halide which is a merocyanine dye or a cyanine dye having one or more thioalkyl, thioaryl or thioether groups. The one or more thermally developable layers further contain a substituted propenenitrile compound and one or more indolenine dyes as post-processing stabilizing compounds.
