SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains the 1H-pyrrolo[1,2-C][1,2,3] triazole type dye-forming coupler represented by the formula in which each of R1 and R2 is an H atom or a substituent, preferably, each is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constant δp of >=0.3 and X is an H atom or a group to be released by reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent. Thus coupler exhibits absorption characteristics preferable as a yellow or orange dry in the case of oxidation coupling with a hydrazine derivative color-developing reducing agent, thus permitting the dye obtained by the coupler to be superior in spectral absorption characteristics and good color reproduction performance and a color image obtained by this coupler to be superior in lightfastness.
