    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain nuclear fuel for a nuclear reactor with the high quality by allowing an electric current to flow to a prescribed number of welding electrodes alternately in a chamber with a high-pressure helium atmosphere and reducing consumption of the welding electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The two welding electrodes 15a and 15b are connected with an electrode holder of a welding torch 15 and the electric current flowing to the electrodes 15a and 15b is made on and off by a switching control unit incorporated in a welding controller. As a welding process, the head of a coated pipe 1 filled up with pellets, etc., from a fuel element storage vessel 12 is inserted into the welding chamber 8 which is roughly exhausted by a rotary pump 29 etc., of an evacuation system 20 and afterward, moreover, the inside of the welding chamber 8 is formed to a high vacuum by an oil diffusion pump 25. Next, the helium with the prescribed pressure is supplied from a helium supply system 22 to the chamber 8 and an end plug 5 is installed on the coated pipe 1 and the positioning of the electrodes 15a and 15b and a gap between the electrodes and the coated pipe are set. Next, the electric current, the welding time and the pulse width are set by the welding controller 10 and an arc is started while turning the coated pipe 1 by a turning driving motor 11.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize a hydraulic turbine runner having properties of high strength and high tenacity, and able to be manufactured with less manhours. CONSTITUTION:At least all of vanes 1 out of the vanes 1, a crown 2 and a band 3 for constituting a hydraulic turbine runner are of 0.01 to 0.10% carbon, 0.10 to 1.0% silicon, 0.10 to 2.0% manganese, 2 to 7% nickel, 10 to 15% chromium and 0.10 to 3% molybdenum by weight, and the remainder of Fe and unavoidable impurities, and the metallic organization is of mixture of martensite and residual austenite. They are formed of rolled steel plates each of which has the residual austenite amount of 10 to 35% by the capacity ratio. Moreover, the vanes 1 are connected to the crown 2 and the band 3 by welding.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reliability and reduce the number of work operations, by manufacturing a water wheel runner by using rolled steel plates whose metal system consists of the mixture of martensite and a residue austenite, and whose residue austenite capacity ratio is specified. CONSTITUTION:A vane 1 at a water wheel runner is, weightwise, C0.01-0.10%, Si0.10-1.0%, Mn0.10-2%, Ni2-7%, Cr10-15%, Mo0.10-3%, and the remainder is Fe and unavoidable impurities. Furthermore, the vane 1 consists of rolled steel plates whose residue austenite capacity ratio is 10-35%, and a plurality of these rolled steels are welded and assembled. Thus, reliability for a destruction safety quality can be improved, and the number of work operations at the time of manufacturing can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To manufacture a burner having high heat resistance and strength at a low cost by forming the liner of the burner for a gas turbine in a cylindrical shape of specific alloy, and forming the liner by coupling a plurality of cylinders. CONSTITUTION: The liner of a burner for a gas turbine is formed in a cylindrical shape of alloy (nickel-base alloy or iron-base alloy) in which fine oxide particles are dispersed in metallic matrix to be strengthened, and formed by coupling a plurality of cylinders (preferably seamless pipes) 1. In this case, the liner is formed by engaging the cylinders having a plurality of different diameters, and then connecting them by at least one of revetting, brazing, welding and diffusion bonding. Thus, the burner having high heat resistance and strength can be manufactured at a low cost.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate repair welding for cracking by repairing cracking generated on a nozzle by an overlaying layer having multilayers in a welding crosswise direction with a specified pass numbers, in a nozzle for a gas turbine provided with a blade part and a side wall. SOLUTION: In the case where cracking 30, 31 generated on a gas turbine nozzle are repaired, a multilayered overlaying layer having 3 pass or more is formed in a crosswise direction by means of TIG welding after the cracking 30, 31 are completely cut by means of carbide cutter. In the case where cracking generated o the nozzle is repaired by the overlaying layer by a gas turbine nozzle made of Co-base casting alloy including C: 0.20 to 0.30% by weight, Si: 1.0% or less, Mn: 1.0% or less, Cr: 20 to 32%, Ni: 9 to 12%, W: 5 to 10%, Fe: 5% or less, and B: 0.0005 to 0.015%, the overlaying layer is formed of Co- base alloy including C: 0.03 to 0.10% by weight, Si: 1.0% or less, Mn: 1.0% or less, Cr: 20 to 30%, Ni: 15% to 23%, W: 3 to 10%, Ta: 5 to 15%, and Zr: 0.05 to 0.7%.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a moving blade and a stator blade for a gas turbine reusable by eliminating a crack generated part, then jointing an auxiliary plate of the same material as the moving blade and stator blade, to the crack eliminated part by brazing, and further laser-welding the brazed joint part surface. SOLUTION: In a method of repairing a crack generated part of a moving blade and a stator blade for a gas turbine formed of an Ni and Co base super alloy, a part of the generated crack part is eliminated by a grinder, and then an auxiliary plate 6 formed of the same material as the moving blade and stator blade and machined into a sheet state is set and jointed (7) by brazing. A brazed surface part is laser-welded (8), and the brazed part surface is reformed so that wax material components and raw material components are mixed. In this case, B-group powder of Ni: 3.5% and Si: 1.5% is inserted between raw material and the auxiliary plate 6 and jointed in vacuum. B-group powder of Ni: 23%, Co: 10%, Cr: 7%, Mo: 6% and Fe: 3% is further inserted between the raw matrial and the auxiliary plate 6 and jointed in vacuum.
