PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slurry for a secondary battery electrode excellent in adhesion to a collector, and capable of providing a secondary battery showing excellent operating cycle characteristics even under high-temperature and low-temperature conditions.SOLUTION: The slurry for a secondary battery electrode contains: a binder composition for a secondary battery electrode containing (A) 100 pts.mass of at least one kind of water dispersion of a polymer in terms of solid content selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene copolymer latex and acrylic emulsions, and (B) 1 to 20 pts.mass of at least one kind of compound having a clouding point of 70°C or lower, and selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether derivatives, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene condensate, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene alkyl ether derivatives, and poly-N-isopropyl acrylamides; and an electrode active material composed of a carbonaceous material.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a polishing agent, excellent in close adhesion to a substrate and recoating property in addition to durability, capable of satisfying both of these characteristics with peeling property by an alkali in a high level simultaneously and further reducing or not containing a low boiling point film-forming assistant or plasticizer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic emulsion composition which is heavy metal-free and excellent in BHM (black heel mark) resistance, overcoatability, gloss retention and adhesion and suitable for use in a floor polisher. SOLUTION: The acrylic emulsion composition contains an acrylic copolymer having an acid value of 30-180 mgKOH/g and a glass transition point (Tg) of -30 to 70°C and a magnesium compound having a water solubility at 20°C of less than 1 mass%.
