摘要： PURPOSE:A creamy or milky lotion cosmetic having improved emulsion stability, moisture retention, etc. during its use free from skin stimulation, containing a water-insoluble water absorbing polymer as an emulsifying agent obtained by polymerizing starch, a water-soluble polymerizable monomer and a crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:Starch is polymerized with a polymerizable monomer (e.g., acrylic acid) which is water-soluble or becomes water-soluble by hydrolysis and a crosslinking agent (e.g., 1,6-hexanediol diacrylic acid ester) in a weight ratio of 100:50-1,000:0.001-10 to give a water-insoluble water absorbing polymer. A creamy or milky lotion cosmetic containing this polymer as an emulsifying agent. The cosmetic has improved emulsion stability, viscosity stability, moisture retention during its use, water resistance, feeling, retention of makeup, etc. free from skin stimulation. The water-insoluble water absorbing polymer has particle diameters of about 100mu in dry time, water absorption capacity of at least 60ml/g, and the amount of the polymer used is 0.05-5.0wt% based on the total amount of prescription.

摘要： PURPOSE:The titled lotion having high safety, providing a refreshing touch after application, having good stability, consisting of a water-insoluble water-absorbing polymer obtained by polymerizing starch with a water-soluble polymerizable monomer, followed by crosslinking, ethyl alcohol, and water. CONSTITUTION:The titled lotion comprising 0.05-5.0wt% (preferably 0.2- 3.0wt%) water-insoluble water-absorbing polymer, 5-20wt% ethyl alcohol and water as main constitutional components. The water-absorbing polymer is obtained by polymerizing starch with a water-soluble or hydrolytically water- soluble polymerizable monomer (e.g., acrylic acid) in a weight ratio of 100:(10- 2,000) at 10-150 deg.C, followed by crosslinking a crosslinking agent to the polymer in a weight ratio of the crosslinking agent to starch of (0.001-10) to 100, and has particle diameters in drying of 100mu and water absorbing ability of 60ml/ g. The lotion is used as a liquid cosmetic such as beauty water, etc. wherein the whole system is uniform.

The resultant lotion will not irritate the skin and can be applied easily to give a wet touch.

The resultant lotion does not irritate skins, is easily applicable, gives rich sense, when applied and properly moist sense after application.
