Also, the identifying device, cutting device, and gravimeter can be repeatedly operated on the yarn retained by the retainer in this order, and the cutting device and the gravimeter can be repeatedly operated in this order, thus measuring the weight of a plurality of pieces of yarn and that of single yarn for a plurality of times and hence reducing the work load of a measurement worker.
