PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid catalyst for asymmetric Michael addition reaction easily separated from a product, enhanced in optical purity and prepared in an industrially inexpensive manner, and a manufacturing method of an optically active Michael addition product by the asymmetric Michael addition reaction of a 1, 3-dicarbonyl compound and an enone compound using the solid catalyst for asymmetric Michael addition reaction. SOLUTION: The solid catalyst for asymmetric Michael addition reaction is constituted by fixing lanthanide and an asymmetric carboxylic acid on a carrier comprising hydroxyapatite represented by the general formula (I): Ca 10-z (HPO 4 ) z (PO 4 ) 6-z (OH) 2-z *nH 2 O and/or fluoroapatite represented by the general formula (II): Ca 10-y (HPO 4 ) y (PO 4 ) 6-y F 2-y *nH 2 O both of which are preliminarily treated with the asymmetric carboxylic acid and produced by adding hydroxyapatite represented by the general formula (I) and/or fluoroapatite represented by the general formula (II), both of which are preliminarily treated with the asymmetric carboxylic acid to a solution, which is prepared by dissolving a salt of lanthanide and the asymmetric carboxylic acid in a solvent, to stirr the resulting solution to bond lanthanide to oxygen of phosphoric acid by the ion exchange with calcium of hydroxyapatite and/or fluoroapatite. The manufacturing method of the optically active Michael addition product is characterized in that the 1, 3-dicarbonyl compound and the enone compound are reacted in the presence of the solid catalyst for asymmetric Michael addition reaction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid catalyst for the dehydrogenation reaction using an industrially inexpensive carrier but requiring no oxidizing agent and easily separated from a product, its manufacturing method and a manufacturing method of a saturated carbonyl compound by the dehydrogenation reaction of a saturated secondary alcohol compound using the catalyst. SOLUTION: The solid catalyst for alcohol dehydrogenation reaction contains carrier comprising hydrotalcite represented by the general formula: [Mg 8-z Al z (OH) 16 ] z+ [X n- z/n ]*mH 2 O and rhodium supported on the hydrotalcite carrier and is manufactured by adding hydrotalcite represented by the general formula to a solution of a rhodium compound and stirring the obtained mixture to subject the same to solid-liquid separation and drying treatment before reducing the dried mixture.
