摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an improved and more efficient method and apparatus for feeding reaction gas and solid to a suspension smelting furnace. SOLUTION: The apparatus for feeding reaction gas and solids into a suspension smelting furnace comprises at least conduits 1 and 3 for receiving reaction gas and solids and for further conducting them into the suspension smelting furnace. In the apparatus, at least the major part of the reaction gas is fed into the suspension smelting furnace through a reaction gas channel 12 surrounding the solids feeding channel 1. Inside the reaction gas channel 12, essentially near to its end on the side of the suspension smelting furnace, adjusting members 8 are installed, whereby the flow rate of the reaction gas fed into the suspension smelting furnace can be adjusted essentially continuously.
