PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning apparatus capable of removing harmful chemicals such as volatile organic compounds and carbon monoxide, etc. included in a gas by installing an electron-emitting element consisting of a planar structure in an air passage to circulate air in a space of a factory, indoor space, etc.SOLUTION: An air cleaning apparatus includes an electron-emitting device 2 that has two electrodes and consists of a planar structure, and an air passage 3 that allows passage of a gas that contains harmful chemicals such as volatile organic compounds and carbon monoxide, the electron-emitting device 2 being arranged along the air passage 3 so that electrons are emitted into the air passage trunk 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing mono dispersion capsule type particles in which a content of impurity is little, and the capsule type particles obtained by the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing capsule type particles is characterized in that electrostatic spray of a dispersion containing fine particles to be cores and a resin component to be shells is carried out, and thereby the monodispersive capsule type particles having one or more cores are obtained.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanging device that forms an electric field for ion wind generation without depending on a heat sink and exhibits heat exchanging performance for a heat-exchanged body of any size in any shape by providing a hole electrode between an electron emission element and the heat exchanged body, and use thereof.SOLUTION: The heat exchanging device includes an electron emission electrode having an electrode substrate, a thin-film electrode, and an electron acceleration layer sandwiched therebetween, and a hole electrode which faces the thin-film electrode apart from the thin-film electrode and has at least one through hole. When the electron emission element and the hole electrode are installed in air to apply a first voltage between the electrode substrate and the thin-film electrode and apply a second voltage between the thin film electrode and the hole electrode, electrons generated by the electrode substrate are accelerated by the electron acceleration layer with the first voltage and emitted from the thin-film electrode into the air to generate negative ions, and ion wind comprising the negative ions is generated with the secondo voltage to be emitted to the heat-exchanged body through the through hole.
