A motor housing 21 of an electric motor M, which rotates to drive the pinion shaft 14 through a reduction gear mechanism A and a gear transmission mechanism B, is provided integrally with the tube 13. The reduction gear mechanism A consists of a small gear 31 (input gear) fitted onto a rotating shaft 24 of the motor M and a large gear 33 (output gear), which is fitted to the base end of an intermediate shaft 32 freely to turn integrally with the intermediate shaft 32 and to be engaged with the small gear 31. As a result, the back rush adjustment of the small gear 31 and the large gear 33 is facilitated.
