    Abstract: PURPOSE:To smooth the rotation of an engine at the time of fuel-cut reset by controlling the fuel injection so as to be increased for a prescribed time after the reset of fuel cut as compared with the time light fuel is detected, when heavy fuel is detected, on the basis of the detecting signal of a fuel prop erty detecting means. In this case, if a fuel property detecting means 18 detects that the fuel 15 is a heavy fuel abundant in high boiling-point constituents, an injection increasing means 19 controls the fuel injection control means 16 so that the fuel injection after fuel-cut reset is increased as compared with the time light fuel is detected. Thus, the rotation of the engine at the time of fuel-cut reset can be smoothed, and engine stall can be previously prevented.
