Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the variation of a resiliency to push out a piston rod by providing a gas substance sealed in a pressure chamber, which moves a valve body to the orifice opening side when it is expanded, and moves the valve body to the orifice closing side when it is contracted. CONSTITUTION:When a damper stay 10 is between the most expanded condition and the most contracted condition, and when it is contracted, the pressure of a high pressure gas chamber 24 is raised by the Boyle's law, and the pressure of a high pressure gas chamber 22 is reduced. As a result, since a small piston 27 is going to move in the direction of the arrow A, the blocking of an orifice 26 by a seal rubber 29 is continued, and by this blocking, the resiliency of the damper stay 10 is increased, and the contraction of the damper stay 10 is made difficult compared to the condition of no blocking. Furthermore, when the damper stay 10 is expanded thereafter, the blocking and the opening of the orifice 26 are repeated, and the damper stay 10 is made in an expanded condition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it smooth to slide a piston against a cylinder and to promote reliability of a seal section of the cylinder in a damper stay energizing in a state to open the back door of a car. CONSTITUTION:A wire 18 is inserted in a damper stay from the center of a section of the other end of a cylinder 7 through a cylindrical wire guide 17. One end of the wire 18 is fixed to the deepest section 16 of a hollow section 26 provided to a piston 10 and the center of a section of a rod 2. The inside of the wire guide 17 is opened to the air and, at the same time, the outside thereof is capable of sliding to a seal section 19 provided to the hollow section 26. The end of the cylinder 7 is mounted to the body of a car and, at the same time, the end of the rod 2 is mounted to the back door. The other end of the wire 18 is connected to a wire winding means.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance productivity by press-fitting a base end of a pipe, which is connected to a traction member and inserted into a hollow piston rod, into a press-fit hole formed in an axial center portion of a bottom member continuous to a bottom end of a cylinder, into which the piston rod is inserted, via a seal member so as to obtain a gas sealing plug. CONSTITUTION:A diameter of a base end 3b of a pipe 3 is enlarged. The base end 3b is press-fitted into a press-fit hole 5a formed in an axial center portion of a bottom member 5 via a seal member 8. The seal member 8 is inserted into an annular groove 3c formed in the outer periphery in the center of the base end 3b. The pipe 3 is inserted into a hollow portion of a hollow piston rod 2 inserted into a cylinder 1, and is connected to a traction means disposed outside via a traction member 4 so as to insert the hollow piston rod 2 into the cylinder 1. With this constitution, gas is sealed into the cylinder 1 through a clearance formed between the base end 3b and the press-fit hole 5a before the base end 3b of the pipe 3 is press-fitted into the press-fit hole 5a.

A roller 80 is brought into contact with the wire 42 by the exciting force of a coil spring 91, and a proximity switch 92 is arranged near the lower end section 86B of a connecting bar 86 connected to the roller 80. The proximity switch 92 is turned off when the lower end section 86B of the connecting bar 86 is separated, and a control device 88 stops the motor 68 when the proximity switch 92 is turned off.

CONSTITUTION:A mounting part structure of gas spring is provided with a towing member 4 which passes through an inner space 3a of a pipe body 3, of which the case end is locked to a hollow piston rod side, and the top end of which is extended to the outside after passing through the bottom center of a cylinder 1. Then the top of the towing member 4 is towed from the outside to move the hollow piston rod forcibly into the cylinder against gas pressure to enable forced compression. Also the bottom of the cylinder is connected to a body, etc., B in a ball joint structure comprising a spherical holding member 8 and a spherical sheet member 9. Either one of the spherical holding member 8 or spherical sheet member 9 is connected to the bottom part with its axis coincided with the axis at the bottom part, and the towing member 4 is inserted into through-holes 8a and 9a drilled at the axis part by the spherical holding member 8 and spherical sheet member 9.
