Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rotor for a rotary electric machine that has an axial force to a rotor core by a calking part provided in a rotor shaft so as to stabilize calking quality to improve robustness.SOLUTION: A rotor shaft composed of a rotor comprises: a fitting part 26 fitting a rotor core 12; a flange part located at one end of the fitting part 26 in an axial direction; and a calking part located at other end of the fitting part 26 in the axial direction. The calking part is formed being bent into an outer diameter side over whole circumference at the other end of the rotor shaft in the axial direction to hold in the rotor core 12 in the axial direction. When manufacturing the rotor, an annular notch 38 hollowing in an inner diameter side over whole outer peripheral surface at the other end of the fitting part 26 in the axial direction is provided with a shaft material 36 composed of the rotor shaft, an axial force using a calking jig 44 is given to the shaft material 36 with fitting the rotor core 12 to the fitting part 26 so as to form the calking part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and drive device to control vibrations of a rotor core. SOLUTION: The motor includes a protrusion 64d abutting with the external periphery of the end 62c of a rotor core 62 under the condition of rotation stopping, and a protrusion 64b having an airspace 64c between the inner periphery of the end 62c of the rotor core 62 and the protrusion 64d under the condition of the rotation stopping, which are formed on the surface on the side of the rotor core 62 of an end plate 64 of the motor. This can depress the end 62c of the rotor core 62 by the protrusions 64b and 64d by abutting the protrusion 64b with the end 62c of the rotor core 62 and control vibrations of the rotor core 62 when the rotor core 62 is rotating. PURPOSE:To obtain sintered alloy for intake valve seat which excels in anticorrosion for lead compound and excels in durability, even if lead containing material is used. CONSTITUTION:This is a valve seat alloy in which Pb is impregnated at weight ratio in sintered alloy in which hard particles which contain Cr, Si, and Mo at the weight ratio of 5.0-20%, 1.0-5.0%, and 25-35%, respectively, and whose remaining part consists of Co are dispersed in base texture which contains C at the weight ratio of 0.4-2.0%, Ni and/or Co at the weight ratio of 1.5-5.0% and whose remaining part consists of Fe and impure elements.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve oxidation resistance and wear resistance and to lighten the weight by providing an Al pack cementation layer in which thickness, hardness, and Al concentration are specified, respectively, at least to the surface of the head of an engine valve composed of Ti-Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:An Al pack cementation layer is provided at least to the surface of the shade of an engine valve composed of Ti-Al alloy. The thickness, hardness Hv, and Al concentration of the Al pack cementation layer are regulated to 10-100mum, 300-450, and 42-53wt.%, respectively. The above Al pack cementation is carried out, e.g. by filling a semi-airtight vessel with a base material together with a diffusion agent which is a mixture of Al powder, alumina powder, and NH4Cl powder and then performing heating.

PURPOSE:To manufacture aux. combustion chamber simply, easily, and uncostly by forming a blocking part which encloses at least part of one end or both of a hole, at the time of precision casting in such a way as consolidated with a coarse work for chamber. CONSTITUTION:A coarse work 1 for chamber made of austenite type heat- resistant steel having eaves-shaped blocking parts 4 at the ends of a hole 3A is prepared through precision casting. Therein casting material 5 within the hole 3A remains approx. perfectly even after sand shakeoff process. Then the portions 6A, 6B as acute angle part of the jet are subjected to re-melting process by means of TIG arc. The remaining blocking parts 4 are removed in the finish process. Thus existence of the casting material 5 within the hole 3A allows formation of a layer turned into alloy while the shape of the hole 3A is kept as it was even under the condition that high-density energy 7 is impressed at the time of re-melting process. This enables manufacturing coarse works 1 for chamber simply. easily, and uncostly.

PURPOSE:To obtain a wear resistant member having superior wear resistance of the prescribed parts by alloying the surfaces of the prescribed parts of a Ti alloy member with Al to form wear resistant layers contg. a Ti-Al intermetallic compd. and having a specified concn. of Al. CONSTITUTION:The base material 1 of a valve body is made of a Ti alloy such as Ti-6Al-4V and the surfaces of the parts of the base material 1 requiring wear resistance, e.g., the valve face part 2 and the shaft end part 3 are alloyed with Al. This alloying can be carried out by uniformly spreading pure Al powder on the prescribed parts and irradiating the surfaces of the resulting Al powder layers with laser light to simultaneously melt the Al powder layers and the surface of the base material under the layers. Wear resistant layers contg. a Ti-Al intermetallic compd. are formed and a Ti alloy base material 1 having superior wear resistance is obtd. The concn. of al in the wear resistant layers is regulated to 15-60wt.%.

PURPOSE:To render superior wear resistance to a base material made of TiAl as an intermetallic compd. by forming wear resistant layer consisting of TiAl3- based Ti-Al intermetallic compds. as the surface layers of the parts of the base material requiring wear resistance. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1 forming the body of a member such as a valve of an automotive engine is made of TiAl as an intermetallic compd. Wear resistant layer 4 having about 48-63wt.% Al concn., consisting of TiAl3- based Ti-Al intermetallic compds. and contg. a practically crystallized pure Al phase are formed as the surface layers of the valve face part 2 and the shaft end part 3 of the base material 1 requiring wear resistance. A base material 1 having superior durability is obtd.

The end plate parts 30, 32 include resin filling holes each located on the outer peripheral side from a position of a caulking part 41 for caulking in the rotor shaft 12 and having an outwardly expanding shape with an outer surface opening area wider than an opening area relative to the rotor core part 22. By the resin filling holes 35 filled with resin, the rotor core part 22 and the end plate parts 30, 32 are integrated with each other.
