PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble damping device utilizing the resistance and heating of viscous fluid. SOLUTION: The damping device has a conversion part 10 and a damping part 30 separately assembled and detachably connected together via a joint part 50. The conversion part 10 has a first casing 11 storing a nut 13 of a ball screw mechanism 12 rotatably via a pair of bearings 17. The damping part 30 has a second casing 31 storing a rotor 32 rotatably via a pair of bearings 35 and viscous fluid 33 between the rotor 32 and itself. The joint part 50 connects the nut 13 to the rotor 32 via inside connection cylinders 51, 52 in a rotation transmissive manner and connects the casings 11, 31 to each other via an outside connection cylinder 53. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having a compact outside dimension as well as maintaining high rigidity. SOLUTION: The actuator comprises a hollow track rail 6 having a slit 8 extending to the axial direction, a movable block 7 arranged inside the track rail 6 and movable along the track rail 6, and a ball screw mechanism for moving the movable block 7 to the axial direction of the track rail 6. In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the track rail, the track rail has a guide part 9 for guiding the movement of the movable block 7 and extension parts 11 extending from the guide part 9 to cover the movable block 7. SOLUTION: The actuator is provided with a hollow shaped track rail 6 formed with a slit extending in an axial direction, a moving block 7 arranged in an interior of the track rail 6 and capable of moving along the track rail 6, a driving mechanism 17 driving the moving block 7 in the axial direction of the track rail 6, struts 18 and 19 supporting axial ends of the track rail 6, and a cover member 21 covering a whole of the track rail 6 in a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction of the track rail 6, and freely extending and contracting in the axial direction of the track rail 6. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat sliding device that enables improvement of design flexibility of vehicle interior height, reduction in the weight and improvement of usability when a seat is moved forward/rearward.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat sliding device comprises: an upper rail 2 that is formed of aluminum alloy and includes a sliding portion 21 with a plurality of ball rolling grooves formed in the longitudinal direction; a lower rail 3 formed of aluminum alloy and including a guide groove that houses the sliding portion 21 of the upper rail 2 and in which ball rolling grooves opposing to the ball rolling grooves 23 of the sliding portion 21 are formed in the longitudinal direction in the guiding groove; and a large number of guide balls 4 that are formed of synthetic resin, are disposed in rows in the ball rolling grooves 23 without using a cage and support movement of the upper rail 2 relative to the lower rail 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device capable of enabling a slider to slide smoothly without fluctuation of slide resistance, and preventing early fatigue of a ball rolling groove to generate flaking phenomenon at a joint part between a curved guide rail and a curved guide rail to make it usable for a whole service life. SOLUTION: A track rail 1 is composed of a plurality of the curved guide rails 1B-1 and 1B-2 of at least constant curvature formed in arc form which are serially connected to each other on a flat surface. As a lengthwise end part of each end part of the curved guide rail 1B-1 to be connected to the other curved guide rail 1B-2, a crowning surface 13 cut in the form of a bow is formed to the ball rolling groove 12a (12b) positioned in an outer circumferential side surface. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device for a vehicle with a new mechanism using a ball screw mechanism that can attain further miniaturization. SOLUTION: This steering control device for the vehicle is provided with a first input shaft 1 connected to a steering wheel; a second input shaft 2 connected to a motor 8; an output shaft 3 connected to a steered wheel; a first transmission means 6 for rotating a nut 5 by the rotation of the first input shaft 1 so that the rotation of the first input shaft 1 is transmitted to the rotation of the output shaft 3; and a second transmission means 7 for putting the nut 5 in linear motion in an axial direction to the output shaft 3 by the rotation of the second input shaft 2 so that the rotation of the second input shaft 2 is transmitted to the rotation of the output shaft 3.
