PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To understand a time series variation in signal values of a region of interest in each time phase in detail and effectively based on liver angiographic images obtained at a plurality of time phases in a contrast examination using a contrast agent that reflects a liver blood flow and liver function in an image. SOLUTION: A region-of-interest setting part 32 sets a region of interest in the liver positionally corresponding to each of liver angiopgraphic images between each time phase. A local image generation part 34 generates local sectional images representing an area of interest for each time phase based on each of liver angiographic images in each time phase. An image-guide therapy system comprises a thermal treatment device (e.g., an ultrasound transducer) configured for transmitting a therapeutic energy beam, and The system further comprises an imaging device (e.g., a magnetic resonant imaging (MRI) device) configured for acquiring images of the target tissue mass and the thermal treatment device. The system further comprises a controller configured for controlling thermal dose properties of the thermal treatment device to focus the energy beam on a target tissue mass located in an internal body region of a patient, and a processor configured for tracking respective positions of the thermal treatment device and the target tissue mass in a common coordinate system based on the acquired images. The system may optionally comprise a display configured for displaying the acquired images.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, accurate, inexpensive and safe method for measurement of aberration change at the earliest stage which is generated in the glaucoma.SOLUTION: The contact device 2 is placed on the eye in order to detect physical and chemical parameters of the body as well as the non-invasive delivery of compounds according to these physical and chemical parameters, with signals being transmitted continuously as electromagnetic waves, radio waves, infrared and the like. A transensor mounted in the contact device laying on the cornea or the surface of the eye can evaluate and measure physical and chemical parameters in the eye including non-invasive blood analysis. The system utilizes eye lid motion and/or closure of the eye lid to activate a microminiature radio frequency sensitive transensor mounted in the contact device 2, and communicate the signal to an externally placed receiver. The signal can then be processed, analyzed and stored.

This patent document describes, among other things, systems and methods for monitoring lung fluid status, such as monitoring the presence or absence of pulmonary edema, in a subject using information about the cardiac impedance-indicating component of a measured impedance-indicating signal. In various examples, an amplitude or contribution change over multiple cardiac cycles of the cardiac impedance-indicating component is used to compute and provide a lung status indication. In various examples, a decreasing amplitude or contribution trend of the cardiac impedance-indicating component signifies an increasing amount of fluid in the subject's lungs, as a greater portion of an injected thoracic impedance measurement current formerly traversing the heart is rerouted through the lung due to the less resistance path created by the fluid accumulation therein. In another example, measurements of the impedance-indicating signal, and thus the cardiac impedance-indicating component, are taken at one or a combination of end-inspiration or end-expiration.

Disclosed is an apparatus for analyzing pulse using an array of pressure sensors comprising: an array of pressure sensors that measures the pulse data with a plurality of piezoresistive pressure sensors; a moving part that moves the array of pressure sensors; a controller that controls the moving part, so that the array of pressure sensors can be positioned at the pulse diagnosis site, and analyzes the pulse data measured by the array of pressure sensors; and a display that displays the pulse profile analyzed by the controller. Since both the applied pressure and the pulse pressure can be measured simultaneously using the piezoresistive pressure sensors, various pulse diagnosis techniques can be applied and since pulse length, pulse thickness, etc. can be displayed in four dimensions, softness or roughness of the pulse and other pulse information can be conveyed visually.
