PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid purification system by means of vapor compression distillation including a liquid ring pump with a rotatable housing. SOLUTION: A liquid distillation system includes: (a) an inflow part for receiving untreated liquid; (b) a vaporizer coupled to the inflow part for transforming the liquid to vapor; (c) a head chamber for collecting the vapor from the vaporizer; (d) a vapor pump with (i) an internal drive shaft and (ii) an eccentric rotor with a rotatable housing for compressing the vapor; and (e) a condenser in communication with the vapor pump for transforming the compressed vapor into a distilled liquid product. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved integrated condenser/separator for fuel cell exhaust gas, and to provide a relatively small integrated condenser/ separator for fuel cell exhaust gas. SOLUTION: The integrated condenser/separator is provided for condensing and separating a condensate 11 from a cathode exhaust gas flow 12 in a fuel cell system 14. The integrated condenser/separator includes a housing 169 and one or more baffle plates 18 and 20 positioned in the housing to divide the interior of the housing into two or more gas flow chambers 24 and 26 each containing a stack 32, 34 and 36 of heat exchange units 30. A condensate drain 106 and 108 is provided in each of the gas flow chambers to drain condensate therefrom. The condenser/separator can be configured into any reasonable and independent number of coolant and gas side passes as maybe required to meet the thermodynamic and pressure drop requirements of each particular application. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation space by a connecting pipe passage between a condensed fluid separator and a plate type heat exchanger, to prevent thermal transmission loss, and to reduce the producing cost. SOLUTION: In the integrated plate type heat exchanger having a reheater and a chiller, a heat insulating expansion chamber is formed on a lower part of the chiller, a condensation chamber is formed on a lower part of the reheater, and a condensation mesh body is arranged in the condensation chamber. The separator connected to the outside of the plate type heat exchanger by a pipe passage is integrally formed inside the plate type heat exchanger, and thermal transmission loss can be prevented, and miniaturization can be achieved. A plurality of electrothermal plates having a condensation chamber forming hole and a pipe passage forming hole are laminated, brazed, and the reheater is formed, the plurality of the electrothermal plates having the heat insulating expansion chamber forming hole, the pipe passage forming hole, and a refrigerant inflow pipe passage and refrigerant outlet pipe passage forming hole are laminated, brazed, and the chiller 7 is formed, and thus the integrated plate type heat exchanger is produced.
